اسفندیار خان اب میں چاہتی ہوں کہ تم مجھے جلد از جلد شادی کی تاریخ دے دو میں یہاں سے شادی کی تاریخ لے کر جانا چاہتی ہوں انشاء اللہ اب دوبارہ بارات لے کر ہی آؤں گی۔اب انکے آنے کی وجہ سب کو معلوم ہوئی تھی ۔پلوشہ اسفندیار خان کی سب سے بڑی بیٹی ثمرین پھپھو کے دوسرے بیٹے اسلام سے منصوب تھی ان کا رشتہ بچپن میں ہی طے پا چکا تھا شادی کا ذکر ابھی تک فل حال نہیں ہوا تھا اس پر اچانک پھپھو کا تاریخ مانگنا سب کو حیران کر گیا ۔
خور (بہن) اتنی اچانک شادی کی تاریخ ابھی تو کوئی تیاری بھی نہیں ہوئی۔اسفندیار خان ٹانگ پرٹانگ جمائےہاتھ میں چائے کا کپ تھامے صوفے پر بیٹھے تھے۔
اچانک کہاں کب سے ارادہ تھا کہ یہاں ا کر تاریخ لے لوں اور اگلے مہینے ہی اسلام ا رہا ہے انگلینڈ سے تو میں نے سوچا کہ اب شادی کر کے ہی روانہ کروں گی۔چائے کے گھونٹ بھرتے ہوئے ثمرین پھپھو نے اپنی رائے کا اظہار کیا ۔
وہ سب تو ٹھیک ہے خور بہن مگر اتنی جلدی سب تیاریاں کیسے ہوں گی۔اسفندیار خان کے ساتھ بیٹھی ہی زرتاج بیگم کافی فکر مند لہجے میں کہہ رہی تھی ۔
تیاری کی تو تم کچھ بات ہی نہ کرو زرتاج اج کل سب کچھ بنا بنایا مل جاتا ہے اب تم ہمیں تاریخ دے دو تاکہ ہم اپنے فرض سے سب سبکدوش ہو جائیں۔ان کے پاس ہر بات کا جواب تھا گویا وہ تاریخ لے کر ہی مانیں گی۔اسلام بھی یہی چاہتا ہے کہ اب جب وہ ا رہا ہے تو شادی کر کے اپنی بیوی کو ساتھ ہی لے جائے،پھر میں نے شائستہ اور احمد کے بارے میں بھی سوچنا ہے۔انہوں نے گہری سانس لی۔ یعقوب خان نے شائستہ کا رشتہ اپنے بھتیجے سے طے کر دیا ہے اب احمد کے لیے لڑکی دیکھ کر دونوں کے ساتھ ہی شادی کر دوں گی۔وہ گویا بہت ہی اگے کا سوچ کر بیٹھی تھی تمام نفوس خاموش تھے یا شاید اسفندیار خان کے بولنے کے منتظر۔
ٹھیک ہے اور میں اپ کو سوچ کر بتاتا ہوں اسفندیار خان نے کچھ سوچتے ہوئے جواب دیا۔
ٹھیک ہے سوچ لو مگر تاریخ لے کر ہی جاؤں گی۔مسکرا کر کہتے ہوئے اب وہ خواتین کے ساتھ باتوں میں مصروف ہو گئی تھی سب کو سلام کر کے اسمندیار خان موبائل کان سے لگائے باہر نکل گئے تھے۔
