“حمدان شادی بیاہ کوئ مزاق نہیں ہے تم سیریس ہو کے سوچو….. دیکھو…… الحان تمہارے لائق نہیں تم اسے نہیں جانتے کل کو پچھتانے سے بہتر ہے کہ تم آج اپنے فیصلے پر نظر ثانی کر لو….. منال سے شادی کر لو وہ الحان سے بہتر ہے”معیز نے جب سے سنا تھا حمدان اور الحان کا نکاح ہے تب سے وہ موقعے ڈھونڈ رہا تھا حمدان سے بات کرنے کا تو وہ صبح صبح ہی اسکے کمرے میں آدھمکا جب وہ اپنی سوچوں میں گم گود میں تکیہ رکھے بیڈ سے ٹیک لگائے بیٹھا تھا
“معیز تم اس بات کی ٹینشن مت لو مجھے پتہ ہے کہ میں کیا کرنے جا رہا ہوں…. میں بچہ تھوڑی ہوں”حمدان نے اکتائے ہو لہجے میں کہا.
“حمدان منال بہت اچھی لڑکی ہے تم سے بے پناہ محبت کرتی ہے… مجھے بتایا ہے مونا نے….. الحان تمہارے لائق نہیں ہے وہ بس منال کو دکھ دینے کے لیے تم سے شادی کر رہی ہے…. الحان اچھی لڑکی نہیں ہے”معیزاسکے بیڈ سائیڈ پڑے صوفے پر بیٹھتے ہوئے بولا.
“اچھا آپ کو کیسے پتہ”حمدان نے معیز کو بغور دیکھتے ہوئے کہا
“کیا مطلب…… کیا کہنا چاہتے ہو…. “
“مطلب یہ معیز تم تو ہمیشہ گھر سے دور رہے ہو تمہیں کیسے پتہ کے الحان اچھی لڑکی نہیں ہے اور منال اچھی ہے…… کیا میں جان سکتا ہوں….اتنی اہم معلومات تمہیں کیسے پتہ چل گئ. اور میں جو اس گھر میں ہی موجود تھا مجھے خبر کیوں نہ ہوئ…. “
“حمدان….. الحان یوسف کو پسند کرتی ہے…..اس لیے اسے اپنی زندگی مہں شامل نہ کرو وہ تم سے مخلص نہیں رہے گی”
“ہاہاہاہا…. اچھا.. بہت خوب الحان یوسف کو پسند کرتی ہے… آپ کو کس نے بتایا… “
“مجھے مونا نے بتایا تھا اور میں نے خود بھی دیکھا ہے وہ رات کو یوسف کے ساتھ…. “

“حمدااان…. تمیز سے بات کرو مونا بیوی ہے میری….”
“آپ یہاں کھڑے جس کے کردار پر بار بار کیچڑ اچھال رہے ہو نا…. وہ میری ہونے والی بیوی ہے مجھے گوارا نہیں کہ آپ اس کے کردار پر انگلی اٹھائیں… “
