آج نور کی بارات تھی بارات وہ سجی سنوری بیٹھی تھی جب کمرے کا دروازہ کھلا راشدہ بیگم آئیں اور نور کو پیار کیا

ارے ابھی نہیں جانم میں خود تمہیں بیہوش کرتا ہوں کہنے کی دیر تھی عالم نے نور کے منہ پر کپڑا رکھا اور اس کو اٹھا کر کھڑکی سے باہر نکل گیا
جب دلہن نہ ملی تو ملک صاحب کی بہت بدنامی ہوئی راشدہ بیگم کو خدشہ تھا اغواہ ہونے کا پر ملک صاحب نے تمام رشتے ختم کرکے اسکو مری ہوئی قرار دے دیا
عالم ولا میں آکر جب نور کی آنکھ کھلی تو سامنے کچھ آدمیوں اور مولوی صاحب کو پایا ساتھ ہی عالم بیٹھا تھا مسکرا کر نکاح کا بولا تو عالم نور کے پاس بیٹھا اور بولا
قبول نہ کیا تو تمہارے ماں باپ کے ساتھ تمہیں زندہ دفن کر دوں گا
نور نے سہم کر نکاح قبول کیا جب کہ عالم کے چہرے پر مسکراہٹ بکھری۔۔۔۔۔
