“کیا تکلیف ہے؟پیچھے ہٹو۔” خفگی سے اس کا ہاتھ اپنے کندھے سے ہٹاتے اس نے بچا ہوا سگریٹ نیچے پھینک کر جوتے سے مسّل دیا۔
“ہٹ جاؤں گا لیکن اس سے پہلے تمہیں میری بات سننی ہو گی۔وہ کیا ہے نا کہ میں سجاول کا دوست ہوں اور تمہارے لیے ایک بہت اچھی آفر لے کر آیا ہوں۔” متجسس لہجے میں کہتے وہ اس کے سامنے کی کرسی پر بیٹھ گیا۔
“ہاں اب اسے علم ہو گیا ہے کہ ابیہا ہمارے پاس ہے تو اس نے میرا منہ بند کروانے کے لیے تمہیں بھیج دیا۔حد ہے بزدلی اور بےوقوفی کی بھی۔” اس کا مذاق اڑاتے آدم طنزیہ ہنسا تو زید نے میز پر زور سے ہاتھ مارا۔
“چپ کر کے میری بات سنو۔زوریز کی مدد کر کے تمہیں کیا مل رہا ہے؟اس کی وجہ سے تمہیں نوکری سے نکال دیا گیا۔پھر اس کی وجہ سے تم دن رات ہسپتال میں چکر لگا رہے ہو۔اور وہ اس قدر خودغرض ہے کہ تمہیں یہاں اکیلا چھوڑ کر خود گھر چلا جاتا ہے۔تمہیں سمجھ نہیں آتی کہ وہ تمہیں استعمال کر رہا ہے؟” اسے اپنی طرف کرنے کے لیے زید نے سجاول کی کچھ دیر پہلے سمجھائی گئی باتوں پر عمل کرتے اسے زوریز سے بدظن کرنا شروع کیا۔
“مجھے تو یہ سمجھ آ رہی ہے کہ تم اور سجاول مل کر مجھے اپنے فائدے کے لیے استعمال کرنا چاہتے ہو۔لیکن یہ بات کان کھول کر سن لو کہ میں تمہاری باتوں میں نہیں آؤں گا۔اس لیے جا کر اپنا کام کرو۔” اسے تیکھی نگاہوں سے دیکھتے آدم نے جانے کا کہا تو زید کے چہرے پر مسکراہٹ آ گئی۔
“ہمم۔۔کیا نام ہے اس لڑکی کا؟ہاں مس تعبیر۔۔” سوچنے کی اداکاری کرتے اس نے بات ادھوری چھوڑی تو آدم کے چہرے پر حیرت اور غصہ بیک وقت ابھرا۔
“خبردار جو اس کا نام لیا ورنہ اتنا ماروں گا کہ اپنی شکل نہیں پہچان سکو گے۔” دل میں خوف ہونے کے باوجود اس نے غصے سے کہا جبکہ زید بدستور مسکرا رہا تھا۔اپنی جیب سے ایک تصویر نکالتے اس نے میز پر رکھتے اس کی طرف کھسکائی۔
“یہ تصویر تم فارم ہاؤس میں گرا آئے تھے۔سوچا واپس دے دوں۔کہیں تم اپنی محبوبہ کی یاد میں پاگل نہ ہو جاؤ۔” زید کہہ رہا تھا جبکہ آدم نے بےساختہ تصویر اٹھاتے شاک سے اسے دیکھا۔وہ اس کی منگنی کی تصویر تھی جس میں وہ تعبیر کے ساتھ انتہائی مکمل اور خوش لگ رہا تھا۔وہ ہمیشہ اس کے پاس رہتی تھی مگر جھگڑے کے دوران فارم ہاؤس میں گرنے کی وجہ سے سجاول کے ہاتھ اس کی زندگی کا سب سے کمزور پہلو لگ چکا تھا۔
