“پتہ ہے مجھے! یہ ایگزامز سے بھی پہلے کی بات ہے، یہ لڑکا تب بھی ہمارا پیچھا کرتا تھا۔ اس دن شاید تم نہیں آئی تھی جب میں ایسے ہی کینٹین میں اکیلی بیٹھی تھی تب یہ میرے پاس آیا اور فضول بکواس کرنے لگا کہ آپ مجھے بہت اچھی لگتی ہیں، آپ بہت خوبصورت ہیں، آپ کے جیسا میں نے پوری یونی میں کوئی نہیں دیکھا۔۔ افف اور پتہ نہیں کیا کیا!!”
اس نے دور گھاس پر نظریں جماتے ہوئے کوفت بھرے لہجے میں بتایا۔
“کیا؟؟؟ یار۔۔۔ اتنا کچھ ہو گیا اور تم آج بتا رہی ہو؟! اریحہ یار تم مجھے ہمیشہ ایسے ہی شاک کرتی ہو۔۔ تم نے اپنے بابا کو بتایا؟؟
وہ پہلے حیران ہوئی، پھر خفا اور اب وہ فکر مند نظر آ رہی تھی۔
“یار! میں نے سوچا کہ تمہیں کیوں پریشان کرنا، ان جیسے لڑکوں کو ہینڈل کرنا مجھے بہت اچھے سے آتا ہے اور میں نے بابا کو اس لیے نہیں بتایا خوامخواہ اس بیچارے کی تو ہڈی پسلی ایک کروا دینی تھی بابا نے اور ویسے بھی میں نے اسی دن اس کا منہ توڑ دیا تھا اس کی بکواس سننے کے بعد۔۔!!” اس نے اطمینان سے وضاحت دی۔
“تو۔۔۔ تم نے۔۔۔ کیا کیا پھر؟؟”
روبائشہ ششدر سی آنکھیں پھاڑے اسے دیکھ رہی تھی۔
“کچھ نہیں! بس ایک زور دار تھپڑ رسید کیا اس کے منہ پر۔”
اس نے ایک پھول اپنی انگلیوں میں گھماتے ہوئے اسی اطمینان سے کہا۔
“کیا؟؟؟؟ اوہ گاڈ۔۔۔ یہ تم نے کیا کردیا یاااار؟!”
وہ سر پکڑتے ہوئے پریشانی اور فکر مندی کی ملی جلی کیفیت میں بولی۔
“تم اتنا پریشان کیوں ہو رہی ہو؟”
اب کی بار اریحہ نے اس کے تاثرات دیکھتے ہوئے ناسمجھی سے استفسار کیا۔
“یار تمہیں نہیں پتہ ایسے لڑکے پیچھا نہیں چھوڑتے اور اپنا بدلہ لینے کے لیے کچھ بھی کرتے ہیں، تبھی وہ ہمیں یوں گھور رہا ہے، مجھے تو لگتا ہے وہ کچھ برا کرنے والا ہے، بہت برا!!” اس نے سہمتے ہوئے انکشاف کیا۔
“کچھ نہیں ہوتا! تمہیں ڈرنے کی ضرورت نہیں۔ اتنے دن گزر گئے ہیں اس نے ایسا کچھ نہیں کیا نا؟ اب بھی کچھ نہیں ہوگا، تم پریشان مت ہو۔
وہ ایک گہرا سانس خارج کرتے ہوئے اسے ریلیکس کرنے لگی۔
“اللہ کرے یار ایسا ہی ہو لیکن پھر بھی تم کہیں بھی جاؤ تو اپنے بابا یا ڈرائیور کے ساتھ جانا۔ اوکے؟؟”
“اوکے میری جان! ڈونٹ وری اب پلیز ٹاپک چینج کرو مجھے سخت کوفت ہو رہی ہے۔ میں تو اس کو اگنور کر رہی ہوں، تم بھی کرو۔”
وہ نرمی سے کہہ کر ایک بار پھر دور گھاس کی جانب دیکھنے لگی۔
“اوکے! ویسے یہ بتاؤ ابھی کچھ دیر پہلے تم کیا سوچ رہی تھی؟؟”
روبی کا سوال اتنا اچانک تھا کہ وہ اپنی چوری پکڑے جانے پرگڑبڑا سی گئی۔
“آ۔۔ نہیں تو۔۔ کچھ خاص نہیں۔” اس نے مسکرانے کی کوشش کی۔
“مجھے پتہ ہے، تم اسی لڑکے کے بارے میں سوچ رہی ہو نا جس نے تمہیں اس دن لفٹ دی تھی؟؟” وہ اندازہ لگاتے ہوئے چہکی۔
“او فار گاڈ سیک روبی! آج اس واقعے کو آٹھ دن گزر گئے ہیں اور تم ہر روز اسے ایسے یاد کرتی ہو جیسے وہ تمہارے تایا جی کا بیٹا ہو! وہ ایک اجنبی تھا بس اس کے علاوہ اور کچھ بھی نہیں!” وہ بات ماننے کی بجائے جل کر بولی۔
