“کون کہہ سکتا ہے کہ تم وہی حیدر ہو جو ہر وقت چوں چراں کرتا رہتا تھا۔۔۔چپ بیٹھنا تو حیدر نے سیکھا ہی نہیں تھا۔ اب اتنے خاموش ہو۔ مجھے تو ٹینشن ہو رہی ہے۔”، صائم ٹلنے والا نہیں تھا۔ حیدر ہلکا سا مسکرایا۔
”تو آپ کیا چاہتے ہیں کہ ہسپتال کے بیڈ پہ بیٹھ کے ڈانڈیا کھیلوں؟”، اس نے مذاق میں کہا تو صائم مزید قریب آیا۔
”زائرہ آئی تھی تم سے ملنے۔”، اس نے حیدر کے سر پہ بم پھوڑا تھا۔ حیدر آنکھیں پھیلاۓ اسے دیکھے گیا۔
”مگر تم ہوش میں ہی نہیں تھے تو میں نے ہی اسے کمپنی دے دی۔” صائم نے کاندھے اچکا کے کہا اور حیدر کے بے یقین چہرے کو دیکھا۔
”منہ بند بھی کر لو بھائی۔ مکھی گھس جاۓ گی۔”، اس نے شرارت سے کہتے ہوۓ حیدر کا منہ بند کیا۔
”کیا کہہ رہی تھی؟”، حیدر نے گجھ نارمل ہو کر پوچھا۔
”کہہ رہی تھی کہ کیا ہو گیا میرے فیوچر ہسبینڈ کو؟ میں کہیں شادی سے پہلے ہی بیوہ نہ ہو جاؤں؟”،صائم نے شرارت سے کہتے ہوۓ حیدر کی آنکھوں میں بڑھتی بے یقینی کو دیکھا اور ہنس پڑا۔
”ارے عیادت کرنے آئی تھی تمہاری اپنی ممی کے ساتھ۔۔۔لاہور سے اسپیشیلی تمہارے لیے آئی تھی۔”، صائم نے کہا تو حیدر نے تھوڑا سانس لیا۔
”اس کی ممی نے کچھ بتایا تھا ہماری ممی کو۔۔۔”، کچھ دیر کی خاموشی کے بعد صائم نے سنجیدگی سے کہا تو حیدر کے کان کھڑے ہو گۓ۔
”رشتہ آیا ہے اس کا۔۔۔وسیم انکل کے کسی دوست کا بیٹا ہے۔ ان کے فیملی ٹرمز بھی ہیں اس فیملی کے ساتھ۔”، صائم نے کہا تو حیدر رخ موڑ گيا۔
“ابھی بھی وقت ہے حیدر۔۔۔رشتہ بھجوا دو۔ ایسا نہ ہو کہ وہ کسی اور کے نام کی مہندی لگا کر تمہیں اپنی شادی کے کارڈ کے ساتھ ساتھ مٹھائی کا ٹوکرا بھی بھیجے۔”، صائم نے کہا تو حیدر نفی میں سر ہلانے لگا۔
”نہیں۔ اسے میں نے کہا تھا کہ وہ میری پڑھائی ختم ہونے کا انتظار کرے۔ مگر وہ بضد ہے کہ ابھی ہی شادی کروں۔تو میں یہ نہیں کر سکتا۔”، اب کے وہ بولا تو آواز اور لہجے میں سنجیدگی کوٹ کوٹ کر بھری ہوئی تھی۔
”اور اگر تمہاری اسی ضد کے چکر میں واقعی مٹھائی آ گئی نا تو رونے کے لیے اپنا کاندھا میں ہر گز مہیا نہیں کروں گا۔”، صائم نے کہا تو حیدر نفی میں سر ہلانے لگا۔
”نہیں، وہ ہاں نہیں کرے گی اس رشتے کو۔”، حیدر نے کہا تو صائم اسے گھورنے لگا۔
”کیوں؟ کیوں ہاں نہیں کرے گی؟”، صائم نے پوچھا تو وہ ہلکا سا مسکرایا۔
”وہ مجھ سے محبت کرتی ہے بھائی۔ اور میں بھی اسی سے شادی کروں گا۔”، حیدر نے کہا تو صائم نے گہرا سانس لیا اور کچھ قریب ہوا۔
”کبھی اپنی انا اور خوش فہمی کے خول سے نکل کر دیکھنا۔ دنیا بہت الگ ہے۔ ویسی بالکل نہیں ہے جیسی تمہیں نظر آتی ہے۔ زائرہ ایک لڑکی ہے۔۔۔اور وہ کب تک بنا کسی وجہ کے رشتوں کو ریجیکٹ کرتی رہے گی؟ ایک نہ ایک رشتے پہ تو ہاں کرنی ہی ہو گی نا اسے۔”، صائم نے کہا تو حیدر نے چہرہ موڑ کے اسے دیکھا۔
“کیا میری محبت کافی نہیں ہے رشتوں کو ریجیکٹ کرنے کے لیے؟”، اس نے پوچھا تو صائم نے ہلکے سے نفی میں سر ہلایا۔
