“یہ کیا ہو رہا ہے”
معیز نے پاس کھڑے ایک لڑکے سے پوچھا۔
“کسی لڑکی کا ایکسیڈنٹ ہوا ہے۔ بائیک والے نے ہٹ کیا تھا اور فوراً بھاگ بھی گیا۔”
اس لڑکے نے بتایا۔
“ہمیں چل کے دیکھنا چاہیے”
ماہم ثناء اور معیز سے بولی۔
وہ تینوں آگے بڑھے تھے۔ ہجوم کے بیچ راستہ بناتے جب وہ آگے بڑھے تو شاہ کو وہاں دیکھ انہیں حیرت ہوئی تھی لیکن شاہ کے ساتھ انوشے کو دیکھ ان کا دل کٹ گیا تھا۔ شاہ نے انوشے کا سر اپنی گود میں رکھا تھا۔ وہ خون روکنے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا۔ سفید شرٹ خون سے لال ہو چکی تھی۔
“یہ…یہ کیسے شا…شاہ یہ”
ثناء شاہ کے ساتھ بیٹھتی انوشے کا چہرہ تھپتھپانے لگی تھی۔ معیز بھاگا ہوا پارکنگ کی طرف گیا تھا۔ گاڑی روڈ پر لاتے وہ شاہ کی طرف بڑھا تھا۔ آذان اور حماد بھی ماہم کے کال کرنے پر وہاں پہنچ چکے تھے۔ انہوں نے بامشکل شاہ کو سنبھالا تھا۔
شاہ نے انوشے کو گاڑی میں ڈالا تھا۔ معیز ڈرائورنگ سیٹ سنبھال چکا تھا۔ ثناء بھی ان کے ساتھ تھی جبکہ پچھلی سیٹ پر شاہ نے بیٹھتے انوشے کا سر اپنی گود میں رکھا تھا۔

ہاسپٹل پہنچتے شاہ نے انوشے کو سٹریچر پر لٹایا تھا۔ انوشے کا چہرہ زرد اور ہونٹ سفید پڑ گئے تھے۔ سٹریچر اندر لے جاتے ہوئے بھی شاہ نے اس کا ہاتھ تھام رکھا تھا۔ آخر کار وہ اسے لے گئے جبکہ شاہ اپنا ہاتھ دیکھتا رہ گیا۔
“ادھر بیٹھ… تو دیکھنا سب ٹھیک ہو جائے گا…کچھ نہیں ہوتا اسے وہ بالکل ٹھیک ہو جائے گی”
معیز شاہ کو سائیڈ پر لگے بینچز کی طرف لے جاتے بولا۔
“مع… معیز و..ہ… اسے کچھ ہوا تو میں…”
اس سے سہی طرح بولا نہیں جارہا تھا
“کچھ نہیں ہوگا… کچھ نہیں ہوگا…..
“she’ll be alright
معیز اس کی بات بیچ میں کاٹتے ہوئے بولا۔
کچھ دیر بعد ان کے باقی دوست بھی ہاسپٹل پہنچ چکے تھے۔
“یہ لے پانی پی”
سہیل بوتل شاہ کی طرف بڑھاتے بولا تو شاہ نے نفی میں سر ہلایا
“میں کیسے کچھ کھا پی لوں جبکہ مجھے پتا ہے کہ وہ اندر تکلیف میں ہے۔ جب تک وہ ٹھیک نہیں ہوتی تب تک کچھ بھی نہیں چاہیے۔ مجھے یہاں تکلیف ہو رہی ہے “
شاہ دل کے مقام پر ہاتھ رکھتے بولا
“ہمیں بھی تکلیف ہو رہی ہے تجھے ایسے دیکھ کر پلیز اسے نہ کر پانی تو پی لے نا۔ اپنی نہیں تو ہماری خاطر ہی سہی”
حسین کے بولنے پر شاہ نے اس کے ہاتھ سے بوتل تھام لی۔ کانپتے ہاتھوں سے اس نے بامشکل دو گھونٹ اپنے اندر انڈیلے ۔

وہ شیشے سے اندر جھانک رہی تھی آنکھوں سے نکلتے آنسوں تھمنے کا نام نہیں لے رہے تھے۔ آذان نے اس کے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا تو وہ مڑی۔
“She’ll be fine”
وہ اسے تسلی دی بولا لیکن وہ جو اپنے اوپر ضبط کیے ہوئے تھی اب ہچکیوں سے رونے لگی۔
“شش …ٹھیک ہو جائے گی وہ۔ ایسے مت رو دعا کرو اس کے لیے”
