خضدار کے شہر میں واقع چھوٹے سے گورنمنٹ گرلز کالج کے سامنے کھڑے رکشے میں ٹانگ اٹھا کر بیٹھے ٹیپو استاد خباثت سے اس انجان نمبر کو سیف کرتے پوری بتیسی نکال رہا تھا۔
“کیا دیکھ رہا ہے استاد۔۔۔۔ جو اتنے دانت نکل رہیں ہیں۔۔۔۔” ٹیپو استاد کے بغل میں کھڑا شانو موبائل کے اندر جھانکا۔
“کوئی نئی تتلی پھنسی ہے شانو۔۔۔۔ اافففف کیا آواز تھی۔۔۔۔ بالکل ملائی جیسے۔۔۔۔۔ ” ٹیپو استاد درندگی سے زمروش کی آواز کو یاد کرتے لب کاٹنے لگا۔
اس کی یہ حرکت دیکھ کر شانو نے بھی سرد آہ بھرتے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا تھا۔

“پھر کب مل رہے ہو استاد۔۔۔۔۔” شانو نے حسرتی انداز میں ہنکھارا بھری۔
“پہلے پٹانے تو دے۔۔۔۔ ابھی ابھی تو نمبر ہاتھ لگا ہے۔۔۔۔” کمینگی سے آنکھ مار کر اشارہ کرتے ہنس دیا۔
کالج کی چھٹی ہوئی تو شانو اپنے رکشے کے جانب آیا اور دونوں سواری کا انتظار کرنے لگیں۔
ٹیپو استاد بظاہر تو ایک گیراج کا مالک اور فارغ اوقات میں رکشہ ڈرائیور تھا۔ مگر چوری چھپے اس کے کئی غیر قانونی دھندے کرنے والے لوگوں سے روابط تھے۔ وہ رکشہ ڈرائیوری کے آڑ میں اسمگلنگ اور منشیات کی خرید و فروخت میں بڑا ہاتھ رکھتا تھا۔ بیشتر اوقات وہ قانون سے بچ جاتا مگر کبھی پکڑا بھی جاتا تو بالائے جات سے فوراً چھڑوا لیا جاتا۔ جس سے اس کی عیاشی اور بے فکری برقرار رہتی تھی۔
