“آپ طاقتور ہیں تو اپنی طاقت کے زور سے کچھ بھی کر سکتے ہیں میں جانتی ہوں،آپکے گھر والے میرا ساتھ کیا سلوک کریں گے یہ تو آپ جانتے ہیں پر یہ نہیں جانتے کہ میرے گھر والے کیا کریں گے میری بھابھی اگر اور بھی کچھ نہیں کرے گی تو میرے بھائی کے ہاتھوں غیرت کے نام پر تو میرا قتل ضرور ہی کروا دے گی،میری بہن مجھ پر فاتحہ پڑھ چکی ہو گی اب تک،اور اب اگر میں اٹھائیس دن کے بعد گھر واپس جاؤں گی تو میری بہن کے سسرال والے میرے بارے میں سو سو سوال کر کے اسکا جینا حرام نہیں کر دیں گے؟اب تک جو میری قسمت میں لکھا تھا وہ میں نے قبول کیا ہے تو اگے بھی جو ہو گا وہ قبول کروں گی،مگر اس چار دیواری سے باہر نہیں جاؤں گی پھر چاہے آپکے گھر والے میری جان ہی لے لیں” اس نے نہایت آرام سے اپنی بات مکمل کی تھی،اسکے بدلے ہوۓ رویے کے پیچھے یقیناً کوئی بڑی ‘وجہ’ تھی۔
