نہیں. بس میں یہ نہیں سمجھ پا رہی کہ میرے ساتھ یہ کیا ہوتا آ رہا ہے اور کیوں؟ بچپن میں جو سوچا وہ پایا مگر عارضی مدت کیلئے پهر وہ سب چیزیں تو رہی لیکن میں! ! میں جیسے ان سے دور کر دی گئی. چیزیں بظاہر میرے سامنے تهیں مگر حقیقتاً وہ میری دسترس سے کوسوں دور تهیں. پهر لڑکپن میں دوباره مجهے ہر وہ شے عطا کی گئیں جو کبهی مجهہ سے چهین لی گئی تهیں. میرے تو خونی رشتے بهی عارضی وقت تک میرے ساتھ مخلص رہے. پهر وہ رشتے تو رہے مگر وہ خلوص؟ وہ جیسے پهر رہا ہی نہیں. پهر ہر کوئی مجهہ سے بدگمان رہتا. میری اچهائیاں، میری قربانیاں کسی کو نظر ہی نہ آ سکی. ہر بار ہر چیز مجهے عارضی مدت تک عطا ہوئی پهر ایسے چهین لی گئی جیسے کبهی نصیب ہی نہ ہوئی ہو. زندگی نے جانے کس موڑ پہ لاکھڑا کیا ہے مجهے. میں اپنا من مار کر اوروں کی خوشیوں کی فکر میں رہی. نتیجہ کیا ہوا؟ ذلت، بےبسی، لاپرواہی، بےچارگی، تمسخر. میرا وجود تو تذلیل کا چلتا پهر تا اشتہار بن گیا ہے جیسے. میں ہار گئی ہوں ہر طرف سے. شکست روز بروز میرا مقدر بنتی جا رہی ہے. ایسا کیوں ہو رہا ہے کیوں؟ وه جانے کتنے برس کا غبار نکال کر پهوٹ پهوٹ کر رو دی.
