“جیسے کسی پیاسے کو صحرا میں پانی کی تلاش ہو، دور سے سورج کی کرنیں ریت پر پانی کا منظر پیش کر رہی ہوں، چمکتا ہوا پانی پیاسے کو اپنے پاس آنے پر مجبور کر دے۔ پیاسے کے دل میں پانی پینے کی شدت مزید جاگ جائے اور وہ ہانپتا کانپتا سورج کی تپش میں جلتا ہوا اپنا بدن دو ٹانگوں پر اٹھائے قریب سے قریب تر آتا جائے اور اسے پتا چلے یہ اک سراب تھا۔ وہ سیراب ہونے آئے اور اس کے ساتھ سراب ہو جائے۔ اسے ہی نفس الامر کا سراب کہا جاتا ہے۔ یہی خوابوں خیالوں کی دنیا میں ہوتا ہے۔
دنیا سراب ہے، اس کی کوئی حقیقت موجود نہیں ہے۔ یہ کائنات اک وہم ہے۔ یہی نفس الامر اک سراب کی شکل میں ہمارے سامنے آتے ہیں۔ اس دنیا کی حقیقت صحرا کی طرح ہے۔ سب کچھ اک سراب ہے سراب۔”
وہ بد روحوں کی طرح گلیوں میں بھٹک رہی تھی۔ اس کے سامنے اس کی اپنی ہی روح تھی ۔ ایک گلی سے دوسری گلی میں چکر لگا رہی تھی۔ لوگ اسے پتھر مار رہے تھے مگر وہ سب کچھ نظر انداز کر کے صرف اللّٰہ کی تلاش میں یہاں سے وہاں بھاگ رہی تھی۔
“وہ میری اپنی ہی روح تھی جو رب العالمین سے وصل کے لیے بے چین تھی”۔
جیسے ہی اسے وہ یکتا ذات اپنے قریب محسوس ہوئی وہ رقص کرنے لگی وہ رقص جو صرف اللّٰہ کے محبوب اور مخصوص بندوں پر وجد بن کر اترتا ہے۔
آج میں نے جھومتا ہوا رب دیکھا
سب نظروں سے اوجھل اپنے روبرو دیکھا
