گل نے سناٹے دار تھپر حاطب کو دے مارا تو وہاں عائشہ آ پہنچی ۔اس نے گل کو یہ سب کر تے دیکھ لیا تھا۔ تمہاری ہمت کیسے ہوئی میرے بھائی پر ہاتھ اٹھانے کی۔ ہاں۔۔۔۔ عائشہ کا پارہ بہت ہائی تھا۔ جبکہ گل کو چپ سی لگ گئی ۔وہ بس یک ٹک اسے دیکھے گئی ۔حاطب نےخاموش نظروں سے عائشہ کو خاموش کرانا چاہا لیکن وہ ناکام رہا ۔منہ توڑ جواب کیوں نہیں دے رہے اسے ۔۔۔۔۔۔وہ حاطب کی طرف پلٹی۔ گل گم سم اسے دیکھے گئی ۔وہ دوست تھی اس کی۔ نہ جانے کتنے سالوں سے وہ ساتھ تھی ۔وہ ہر کسی سے لڑ سکتی تھی مگر دل میں رکھے لوگوں کو بے عزت نہیں کر سکتی تھی۔ وہ جانتی تھی کہ عائشہ اس کی بجائے اپنے بھائی کی طرف داری کرے گی۔ سو وہ چپ رہی۔ البتہ اس کی انکھیں نہ چپ رہ سکیں ۔وہ بہنا چاہ رہی تھیں ،سو سمندر میں بدل گئیں۔ حاطب نے عائشہ کو بازو سے پکڑا اور چلنے لگا کہ عائشہ نے بازو چھڑا لیا اور واپس گل کی طرف پلٹی ۔ کچھ دیر کے لیے سناٹا سا چھا گیا ۔عائشہ خاموش نظر سے اسے دیکھی گئی ۔اسے اپنے دل میں کچھ بہت برا محسوس ہو رہا تھا ۔یہ غلطی میں کبھی معاف نہیں کروں گی سمجھی تم۔۔۔ اب عائشہ بولی تو اواز میں نہ کوئی غصہ تھا نہ جلال۔ ایک افسوس تھا جو بھرم ٹوٹنے پر ہوتا ہے ۔جو دیوار اعتماد کے گرنے پر ہوتا ہے ۔عائشہ کی انکھوں میں بادل چھا گئے۔ منظر دھندلاسا ہو گیا ۔وہ مسلسل گل کی انکھوں میں اترتی نمی کو دیکھ رہی تھی ۔دونوں سہیلیوں کی دل سینے میں کچھ ٹوٹ کر بکھر گیا تھا ۔اب حاطب نے دوبارہ عائشہ کا بازو پکڑا اور چل دیا دونوں بھائی بہن جا رہے تھے ۔دور ۔بہت دور ۔جبکہ وہ نمک کا مجسمہ بنے کھڑی انہیں دور جاتا دیکھ رہی تھی ۔دوسروں کے غموں کو انجوائے کرنے والے بھی اب چل دیے ۔گل اکیلی کھڑی رہ گئی ۔اسے لگا کہ وہ کبھی وہاں سے ہل نہیں پائے گی ۔مسافر منزلوں کو پہنچ جائیں گے ۔صدیاں بیت جائیں گیں۔ پر وہ نمک کا مجسمہ وہی ٹھہرا رہے گا ۔چند لمحے بعد وہ اپنے خیمے میں موجود تھی۔ زینب منہ پھلائے بیٹھی تھی۔ گل نے سست روی سے اپنا سامان پیک کرنا شروع کیا ۔ہر چیز بہت اہستہ ہو رہی تھی ۔یاں شاید وقت کو گزرنا ہی نہیں تھا۔ گل کیا تم جا رہی ہو ؟خیمے میں داخل ہوتی لُبنی نے پوچھا ۔وہ بھی گل کی دوست تھی۔ لیکن بیسٹ فرینڈ صرف زینب تھی ۔زینب نے ایک افسوس بھری نگاہ گل پر ڈالی۔ پھر واپس منہ پھیر لیا ۔ہوں۔ گل بس اتنا ہی کہہ پائی۔ گل کے سامان کے ساتھ ہی عائشہ کا سامان پڑا تھا ۔عائشہ کا بیگ بھی کھولا پڑا تھا گل کی نظر عائشہ کے بیگ میں رکھی ایک مردانہ رسٹ واچ پر پڑی۔ تو وہ ہلکی سبز پتھر انکھ کے لیے چند لمحے اس رسٹ واچ کو گھورتی رہی ۔عائشہ کا رخ دوسری طرف تھا ۔گل نے ایک نظر عائشہ کو دیکھا پھر رسٹ واچ اٹھا کر اپنے بیگ میں رکھ لی ۔چند گھنٹوں بعد وہ اپنے گھر پہنچ چکی تھی ۔وہ بیڈ پر بیٹھی ہاتھ میں ایک فوٹو فریم تھا ۔ دن کا سارا منظر اس کے ذہن میں کسی فلم کی طرح چل رہا تھا ۔جب اسے حاطب کو مارا تھپڑ یاد ایا تو اس نے درد سے انکھیں میچ لی ۔
