”تو اب میں کیا کروں؟“ نرمین گیسٹ روم میں بیٹھی کسی سے فون پر بات کر رہی تھیں۔ ان کی پیشانی پر بلوں کا جال تھا۔
آگے سے کچھ کہا گیا تھا۔ نرمین کی پیشانی سیدھی ہو گئی۔ بس اب جھریوں کا جال باقی تھا۔ ان کی آنکھیں حیرت سے کھل گئیں۔
”کیا مطلب ہے تمہارا؟ میں….. میں ایسا نہیں کر سکتی۔ اگر کسی کو معلوم ہو گیا تو؟ علی تو پہلے ہی بہت غصے میں ہیں۔ اگر انہیں بھنک بھی پڑی نہ کے میں نے ایسا ویسا کچھ کیا ہے، وہ مجھے معاف نہیں کریں گے۔“
”اور انہیں بھلا کیسے پتہ چلے گا کہ یہ سب تم نے کیا ہے؟“ سپیکر سے آواز ابھری تھی۔
”مگر…..“
”اگر مگر چھوڑو، نرمین۔ یہ وقت عمل کا ہے۔ اب یہ تمہارے ہاتھ میں ہے کہ تم اپنے بچے کے گناہگاروں کو سزا دیتی ہو یا یونہی کھلے عام سکون سے انہیں ان کی زندگی جینے دیتی ہو۔ مگر ایک بات یاد رکھنا۔ اگر تم انہیں بخش دو گی تو خود بھی اپنے بیٹے کی گنہگار ٹھہرو گی۔ کوما میں پڑا تمہارا بیٹا تکلیف میں ہی رہے گا جب تک تم اس کا انتقام نہیں لے لیتیں۔“
