“نہیں… یہ سچ نہیں ہو سکتا…” اس کے ہونٹ کپکپاتے رہے۔

عورت نے دھیرے دھیرے سب بتایا۔

“جس دن وہ تم سے ملنے گئی تھی، واپسی پر اسے کچھ اوباش لڑکوں نے اغوا کیا… صبح ہمیں وہ سڑک پر زخمی حالت میں ملی۔ وہ زندہ تھی مگر ٹوٹ چکی تھی۔ تین دن تک ایک کمرے میں پڑی رہی، ہر لمحہ تمہارا نام لیتی رہی۔ کہتی تھی، بنی امین تو میری شکل بھی نہیں دیکھنا چاہتا… اور پھر… تین دن بعد وہ ہمیشہ کے لیے خاموش ہو گئی۔”
