۔”کمرے سے تو ہٹا دوں گا دل پر سے کیسے ہٹاؤں ۔”وہ پوچھ رہا تھا بےبسی اس کی آواز سے عیا تھی مگر وہ کیا جواب دیتی ۔
۔”یہ غلط ہے تمہیں کوئی حق نہیں ہے ۔”منہال نے کوشش کی وہ روئے نہیں مگر آنسو کب ہماری سنتے ہیں ۔
۔”میں یہ گھر بیچ دوں گا ۔”دانیال نے جیسے حل نکالا ۔
۔”تم شادی کر لو ۔”منہال نے ایک اور حل پیش کیا ۔

۔”منہال دانیال اسفندیار ۔”وہ بولا تو منہال کو پہلی دفہ رات کی گہری خاموشی سنائی دی تھی ۔ وہ اس سے دو قدم کے فاصلے پر تھا ۔
اس کی وہ سرخ آنکھیں ۔ پیشانی پر بکھرے بال ۔نم پلکوں کا خم اس پر سیاہ پیوپل کے گرد سرخی منہال نے نظریں چرائی ۔وہ آنکھیں کسی پر بھی سحر کر سکتی تھی ۔
۔”مگر شیطان گمراہ کر سکتا ہے ۔” حسن کے الفاظ سماعت سے ٹکرائے تو منہال کے منہ سے “توبہ”کا لفظ پھوٹا ۔
دانیال مسکرا دیا ۔
۔”تمہاری یہی بات تو متوجہ کرتی ہے مجھے جتنا میں نے تمہارے پیچھے خود کو زلیل کیا ہے اگر کسی اور کے پیچھے جاتا وہ نہ صرف مجھے سوچتی بلکے اب تک میری ہو چکی تھی ۔
۔”ہم پہلے جیسے رہ سکتے ہیں ایک دوسرے کو تنگ کرنے والے کزنز ۔ کرائم ہاٹنرز ۔ “منہال نے اک آس سے کہا مگر وہ خاموش ہو گیا وہ آخری زینے پر رکا ۔
