یہ کہانی دو دوستوں کی ہے اذبان شاکن اور سُہان احمد کی زندگی کا عکس ہے ۔۔ اذبان شاکن نے اپنے دوست کو ایک گہرا مکتوب لکھا مگر وہ مکتوب دو برس بعد پہنچا اس مکتوب میں وہ سب کچھ شامل تھا جو الفاظ میں بیان کرنا مشکل ہوتا ہے یادیاں ، احساسات ، غم ، خوشی اور وفاداری ۔۔۔
یہ افسانہ صرف دوستی کی کہانی نہیں بلکہ انسانی دل کی گہرائی محبت ، قربانی ، اور فراق کی حقیقت بھی ہے میں اُمید کرتی ہوں کہ قاری ہر لفظ کو محسوس کرے ہر منظر کے ساتھ سانس لے اور ہر احساس کے ساتھ جُڑ جاۓ ۔۔۔
