“وہ محبت کرتے ہیں۔۔پر میں تو نہیں کرتی نا۔۔”کافی دیر خاموش رہ کر جواب دیا۔
“ہاں تو یہ ضروری نہیں کہ جس سے محبت ہو اسی سے شادی ہو ضروری یہ ہے کہ جو آپ سے محبت کرتا ہو اسی سے شادی ہو۔۔۔۔کیونکہ وہ آپ کو اہمیت دیتا ہے اس کے مقابلے میں جو آپ کو اہمیت نہ دے۔۔”۔ وہ سنجیدہ تھیں حد سے زیادہ سنجیدہ۔۔۔
حرمین خاموشی سے کھڑی تمام باتیں سنتی رہی۔ پھر کمرے سے نکل گئی اور چھت کا رخ کیا۔۔۔
چھت پر جا کر اس نے اپنے بچپن کی کچھ یادیں تازہ کیں۔۔وہ اس جگہ پہنچی جہاں اس نے اور شازم نے مل کر ایک پودا لگایا تھا۔۔۔آج وہ ایک شجر بن گیا تھا۔۔ سایہ دار درخت کی مانند۔۔۔وہ اسے بیٹھی گھنٹوں دیکھتی رہی۔۔
“کیا یار یہاں ہو میں کب سے ڈھونڈ رہا تھا۔۔
اووو ہماری محبت دیکھنے بیٹھی ہو۔۔۔” وہ ناجانے کب سے یہاں بیٹھا تھا اس کے کان کے پاس سرگوشی کرتا بولا۔۔۔ وہ چونکی وہ اتنی محو تھی کہ اس کے آنے کی خبر تک نہ ہوئی۔
وہ اس کے بلکل برابر میں بیٹھا تھا دونوں کے درمیان فاصلہ نہ ہونے کے برابر تھا۔
وہ رخ موڑ کر اس کی آنکھوں میں دیکھنے لگی شاید یقین کرنا چاہ رہی تھی کہ وہ اس سے محبت کرتا بھی ہے کہ نہیں۔۔۔
“کیا دیکھ رہی ہو،، تمہارا ہی ہوں ہمیشہ سے۔۔۔اور ہمیشہ تک۔” وہ شوخی ہوا۔۔۔
وہ رخ موڑ گئی۔۔۔نظریں چرائیں۔۔۔کیونکہ اس کی آنکھیں چیخ چیخ کر جواب دے رہی تھیں۔
وہ مسلسل مسکرا رہا تھا۔۔۔۔حرمین مکمل طور پر خاموش تھی۔۔۔اور سنجیدہ بھی وہ جانتا تھا کہ وہ ذہنی طور پر اپ سیٹ ہے پر اس کا ماننا تھا کہ وہ ٹھیک ہوجاۓ گی۔۔
“چلو آؤ میرے ساتھ” وہ اٹھا
“کہاں آؤ” وہ سر جھکاۓ ہوۓ بولی۔
“میری بننے کے لیۓ” اس کے جھکے سر پر نظریں جماۓ بولا
“اگر میں انکار کردوں تو”؟ اس نے سر اٹھایا۔
“کر کے دیکھو،، اٹھا کر لے جاؤں گا۔۔۔” دونوں ہاتھ سینے پر باندھے۔
“نہیں جا رہی پھر لے جاؤ اٹھا کر۔۔۔” وہ غصے میں الٹا ہی بول پڑی۔۔
اس کے کہنے کی دیر تھی وہ اسے بانہوں میں بھرتا اٹھا کر نیچے لانے لگا۔۔
“کیا دماغ خراب ہوگیا ہے۔۔۔۔پ۔۔پلیز اتاریں مجھے” وہ اس کے حصار میں پھڑپھڑاتی گھبرا کر بولی۔۔۔معصومیت کی انتہاء اس کے چہرے پر آ کر تمام ہوجاتی تھی۔
“تم غصے میں بھی اس قدر حسین لگتی ہو کہ میرا دل ہی نہیں کرتا کہ تمہیں خود سے دور کروں۔۔”
اس کو نیچے اتار کر اس کی آنکھوں میں دیکھتا بولا۔
“بھاڑ میں جائیں آپ اور آپ کے یہ۔۔۔” بات ادھوری چھوڑتی وہ اسے پیچھے کر کے گھبراہٹ چھپاتی نیچے آگئی۔۔وہ مسکراتا رہا۔۔۔ اسے یقین تھا کہ وہ اسے منا لے گا۔۔۔وہ ایک دن اس سے محبت کرنے لگے گی۔۔۔
