’’ کیوں نا تیس روپے کی چائے پی جائے ۔‘‘وہ خود سے ہمکلام ہوا۔ سڑک پار کرتے ہوئے اُسےسڑک کے بیچوں بیچ چار سالہ بچہ نظر آیا ۔جس کے سر پر موت منڈلا رہی تھی۔ اپنی جان کی پرواہ نہ کرتے ہوئے اس نے بچے کو فٹ پاتھ کی طرف اچھالا ۔وہ کم سے کم چوٹ پر بس رو ہی سکتا تھا مگر موت سے بچ گیا تھا۔ اور بچانے والا خود نہ بچ سکا ۔کار سے ٹکر ہونے کے باعث وہ بری طرح سے زخمی ہوا ،اور اس نے اپنی جان ملک الموت کے حوالے کردی۔
