“آپ کی نیت میں فتور تھا جس نے مجھے کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑا۔” بےپروائی سے سیگریٹ کا کش لگاتے اس پرانے الزام کو نئے لفظوں میں سنتے ہوئے اس نے سر کو ہلکے سے دھنا۔
“کیا فائدہ ہے آپ کی عقل اور شعور کا جب آپ کسی کو اس کے غلط فیصلے سے باز نہیں رکھ سکتے؟” کمال ڈھٹائی سے وہ ہر بار کی طرح اپنے غلط فیصلوں کا سہرا اس کے سر باندھتی بازپرس کر رہی تھی۔
“آپ کی خودغرضی کی وجہ سے میں ساری دنیا سے کٹ کے رہ گئی ہوں۔ ہونگے آپ دوسروں کے مسیحا’ میری زندگی میں تو عذاب بن کر آئے تھے۔” اسے انگلی کے نشانے پہ رکھے وہ تب تک بھڑکتی رہی جب تک وہ سیگریٹ ختم کر کے اٹھ کر اس کے مقابل نہیں آ گیا۔ وہ یکدم ہی جیسے بولنا بھول گئی تھی۔ وہ اتنا دراز تھا کہ اسے دیکھنے کیلئے آبگینہ کو گردن بھی اٹھانی پڑتی تھی حالانکہ اسکی اپنی قد کاٹھی بھی اچھی تھی۔
“چلو آج تسلیم کر لیتا ہوں کہ ساری غلطی میری تھی۔ اب؟؟؟”
“اب!” اسے چپکی لگی۔ اس اب سے آگے کا جواب تو اسکے پاس بھی نہ تھا۔
“کیا چاہتی ہو تم؟”
ایک اور مشکل سوال پوچھا گیا تھا۔ جواب ندارد۔
“جانا چاہتی ہو؟” اس نے تو صرف پوچھا تھا مگر آبگینہ کا دل نجانے کیوں سہما تھا۔
“یا نہیں جانا چاہتیں؟؟” وہ اسکے روئے روئے نینوں کے اتار چڑھاؤ دیکھتا اس بار نرمی سے گویا ہوا۔ آنکھوں میں بھی الوہی سی چمک تھی۔
یہ لڑکی اسکی زندگی کا قدرے غیرمتوقع باب تھی جس پہ آکے وہ نالائق طالب علم کی طرح اٹک گیا تھا۔ روانی سے اوراق پلٹتا وہ شخص اب آگے نہیں بڑھ پا رہا تھا۔۔۔۔۔
اس کے الزام کوئی ایسے غلط بھی نہ تھے۔ فتور تو اسکی نیت میں تھا! یہ بھی سچ تھا کہ وہ اسکے بےوقوفانہ سی التجا کو ویسے رد نہ کر سکا جیسے اسے کرنا چاہیے تھا۔ وہ اسے اسکے غلط فیصلے سے باز رکھنے میں ناکام ہوا تھا۔
