آبگینہ لاپتہ ہو چکی تھی۔
جس نے سنا چٹخارہ لیا اور اپنی طرف سے ایک افسانہ بنا لیا۔
ایک دن میں اس نے آبگینہ کی گمشدگی سے منسوب کوئی دس افسانے سنے تھے اور ہر افسانہ اسے انسانی پستی کی نئی شکل سے متعارف کروا رہا تھا۔
وہ ان کے سامنے پلی بڑھی بچی تھی۔ وہ اسکے حوالے سے ایسی ویسی کہانیاں کیسے گڑھ سکتے تھے؟؟
محلے کی کچھ آنٹیاں خاص اس سے پوچھ گچھ کرنے بھی چلی آئی تھیں کہ ان کی دوستی سے سبھی واقف تھے۔
وہ الٹے سیدھے سوالات کے جواب میں بت بنی آنے والوں کو دیکھتی رہی۔ وہ اتنی شاکی تھی کہ صبح سے بس ہاتھ پیر چھوڑے بیٹھی تھی۔ پہلو میں اس کا فون رکھا تھا جو صبح نزہت بیگم نے شرمندہ سے انداز میں اسے تھما دیا تھا۔ فون میں آبگینہ کی طرف سے کی گئی بیس سے اوپر مسڈ کالز اور پانچ چھ میسج تھے جن میں اس سے درخواست کی گئی تھی کہ شاہنواز صاحب کو بھیجے، اس کے گھر میں شاید کوئی چور وغیرہ گھس آیا ہے۔۔۔۔۔ نزہت بیگم نے اس کا فون سائلنٹ پہ لگا کر الماری کی دراز میں بند کر رکھا تھا سو ان میسج اور کالز سے سبھی بےخبر تھے۔ صبح آبگینہ کی گمشدگی کی خبر سنی تو انہوں نے اس کا فون دراز سے نکالا جس کے اسکرین پر نظر آتے نوٹیفکیشن انہیں گہرے افسوس میں مبتلا کر گئے۔ انہوں نے آنکھ چرا کر امتل کو اس کا فون لوٹایا اور تب سے وہ بس اس سے چھپی چھپی ہی پھر رہی تھیں۔
ایسا نہ تھا وہ امتل کی زندگی میں آبگینہ کی اہمیت سے ناواقف تھیں۔ ان کا خیال یہ تھا کہ آبگینہ اور جہانداد چودھری کا معاملہ اور شوہر کا غصہ ٹھنڈا ہوگا تو تھوڑے وقت بعد سب معمول پہ لوٹ آئے گا۔۔۔۔ مگر کہانی بدل چکی تھی!
کردار بچھڑ چکے تھے۔ اب نجانے ان کی قسمت میں دوبارہ ملنا لکھا تھا یا نہیں۔۔۔!!
