“تو مسز عالیان شاہ کیا آپ کو کبھی کسی سے پیار ہوا ہے؟” وہ اس کی آنکھوں کے آگے چٹکی بجاتا بولا

     وہ نظریں چرانے لگی

 “پہلے آپ بتائیں کیا آپ سچ میں مجھ سے پیار کرتے ہیں؟” وہ چمکتی آنکھوں سے پوچھنے لگی

“ہاں” اس کے لب ہلکا سا مسکائے

 “تو پھر آپ بتائیں کہ ‘میں آپ کیلیے کیا’ ہوں؟” وہ نادان لڑکی یہ کیا پوچھ بیٹھی تھی عالیان نے مسکراہٹ ضبط کرتے ایک گہری سانس لی تو سنو!

                           تم وہ ہو

                    جس کو دیکھ کر

              میرے دل کی خالی ٹہنی پر

              پھول گلابی کھل جاتے ہیں

                     جس کو دیکھ کر

                مجھ کو اپنی مرضی کے

               سارے موسم مل جاتے ہیں!°

           عائشہ کے چہرہ سرخ ہوگیا

“آی ایم سوری اس رات جو کچھ میں نے کیا تھا میں اس کیلیے بہت شرمندہ ہوں آپ وہ تھپڑ دیزرو نہیں کرتے تھے” عائشہ کی آنکھوں میں نمی گھلنے لگی

“تو پھر میں کیا ڈیزرو کرتا ہوں؟”

“ایک ایسی لڑکی جو آپ سے آپ ہی کی طرح سچا پیار کرے” وہ نجانے کس خیال کے تحت یہ بول رہی تھی

” ہاں پر شاید میری قسمت ہی خراب ہے کیونکہ مجھے تو ایسی لڑکی ملی ہی نہیں” وہ افسوس کرتا کاندھے اچکا گیا

       “آپ جانتے ہی کیا ہیں میرے بارے میں؟” وہ آنکھیں سکیڑ کر پوچھنے لگی

“وہ سب کچھ جو تم خود بھی نہیں جانتی”

“اچھا جیسے کہ؟”

“جیسےکہ تم جھوٹ بہت بولتی ہو” وہ سنجیدہ تھا

اس کی مثال میں تمہیں ابھی دے دیتا ہوں”تو بولو کیا تم مجھ سے پیار نہیں کرتی؟”

” نہیں”

“دیکھا میں نے پہلے ہی کہا تھا کہ تم جھوٹ بہت بولتی ہو پر تمہاری آنکھیں سب سچ بتا دیتی ہیں

“آپ میرے منہ سے اقرار سننے کی حسرت میں رہ جائیں گے پر میں کبھی نہیں بولوں گی اور ویسے بھی یہ ضروری تو نہیں کہ جس کو میں پسند کروں وہ آپ ہی ہوں” عائشہ ہنس کر بولتی اسے تپا گئ

 “میرے علاوہ کس کو پسند کرتی ہو تم؟”اس نے عائشہ کا بازو تھام کر خود کے قریب کرلیا “جواب دو” اب کی بار وہ سختی سے بولا عائشہ اچھل پڑی “کس سے پیار کرتی ہو تم؟” غصے سے پوچھا گیا عائشہ اپنے دل کی بغاوت پر کانپ اٹھی تھی جو دھڑک دھڑک کر سامنے کھڑے شخص کو پکار رہا تھا وہ خود بھی نہیں جانتی تھی کہ وہ کب سے اس کو پسند کرتی تھی بس خوف کی سبب کبھی بول نا پائ

“اپنے ش..شاہ کو” عائشہ اس کی آنکھوں میں دیکھتی اقرار کر گئ عالیان کے لبوں پر دلکش مسکراہٹ ابھری تھی

     “تبھی تم مجھے کلاس میں چور نظروں سے دیکھتی رہتی تھی؟” اس کی آنکھوں میں شرارت اتری

“جی نہیں میں آپ کو نہیں دیکھتی تھی” وہ شرم سے سرخ پڑتی اس کے ہاتھ کے نیچے سے نکل کر باہر بھاگ گئ عالیان نے بالوں پر ہاتھ پھیرتے مسکراتی نگاہوں سے اس دشمن جاں کو فرار ہوتے دیکھا

“جھوٹی!”
