اللہ تعالی فرماتا ہے:
اور نفس کی قسم اور اس کی جس نے اسے درست کیا۔
پھر اس کو اس کی بدی اور نیکی سمجھائی۔
بے شک وہ شخص فلاح پا گیا جس نے اس (نفس) کو (رذائل سے) پاک کر لیا۔
اور بے شک وہ شخص نامراد ہوگیا جس نے اسے (گناہوں میں) ملوث کر لیا۰
سورہ ال شمس ۷–۱۰(

“اور ان سے کہ دو کہ حق تمہارے رب کی طرف سے (آ چکا) ہے، سو جس کا جی چاہے ایمان لے آئے اور جس کا جی چاہے کفر کرے، ہم ن ے یقیناً تیار کر رکھی ہے ظالموں کے لئے ایک ایسی ہولناک آگ، جس کی لپیٹوں نے ان کو اپنے گھیرے میں لے رکھا ہے۔”
(الکہف: ۲۹)
وہ جنہیں اللہ ہدایت دیتا ہے:
“اور جو اس کی طرف رجوع کریں انہیں (اللہ) ہدایت دیتا ہے.”
(الرعد: ۲۷)
اور جنہوں نے ہماری راہ میں کوشش کی، ضرور ہم انہیں اپنے راستے دکھا دیں گے اور بے شک اللہ نیکوکارو کے ساتھ ہے۔”
(سورۃ العنکبوت: ۶۹)
“اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے اپنے لئے چن لیتا ہے اور جو اس کی طرف رجوع کرے اُسے اپنی طرف راستہ دکھا دیتا ہے (ہدایت دیتا ہے).”
(سورۃ الشعراء: ۱۳
وہ جنہیں اللہ گمراہ کرتا ہے
اُسی طرح اللہ ہمیں بتاتا ہے کہ وہ کس کو گمراہ چھوڑتا ہے.
“اور اس (سیدھے راستے سے اللہ) گمراہ نہیں کرتا سواۓ نافرمانوں کے”
