“دیکھیں مس!! آپ شاید یہاں کے اصولوں سے واقف نہیں ہیں۔ ورنہ۔۔۔۔”
پولیس افیسر نے خباثت سے کہتے ہوئے جملہ ادھورا چھوڑ دیا تو اس کے ماتھے پر بل نموندار ہوئے۔
“ورنہ کیا؟؟”
اب کی بار وہ کرخت ہو گئی تھی۔ اس کی بات سن کر پولیس افیسر شیطانی ہنسی ہنسا۔
“ارے اوہ شیدے! آج ہمارے تھانے بہت معصوم لوگ تشریف لائیں ہیں۔ ان کے لیے کچھ کھانے پینے کا بندوبست کرؤ۔”
پولیس افسر نے کمال کی اداکاری کی اور پھر ٹیبل پر کچھ آگے ہو کر اس کی طرف جھکا۔
“مس معصوم! ہر کام کے لیے پیسے لگتے ہیں۔ یہی ہمارا اصول ہے۔ اگر آپ دس لاکھ کا بندوبست کرلیں تو ہم آپ کے لیے کچھ کر سکتے ہیں ورنہ۔۔۔” کہہ کر وہ پیچھے ہوا اور اپنے ہاتھ فضا میں بلند کیے۔”یہ تھانہ گواہ ہے ہم نے کبھی بغیر پیسوں کے کام نہیں کیا۔”
پولیس افسر کی بات پر اس کی آنکھوں میں بےیقینی پھیل گئی۔
“پیسوں کے بغیر کام نہیں کیا یعنی رشوت کے بغیر کام نہیں کیا؟”
وہ گویا خود کو بتا رہی تھی۔
“ارے او بی بی! اتنی نیک پروین ہو ناں تو سکون سے گھر جا کر بیٹھو۔ سب جانتا ہوں تم جیسی لڑکیوں کو۔ تم لوگ عزت بیچ کر اپنے گھر والوں کا پیٹ پالتی ہو۔”
پولیس افسر نے غصے سے کہا تو وہ طنزیہ ہنسی۔
“اور آپ ایمان بیچ کر اپنے گھر والوں کا پیٹ پالتے ہیں۔ ہم ایک ہی گلی کے جانور ہیں جناب!”
کہتے کہتے وہ ہنسی اور میز پر پڑے پین باکس سے ایک سیاہ مارکر نکالا۔
“بکواس بند کرؤ!”
پولیس افسر اس کی بات پر اشتعال انگیزی سے بولا تو اس کے چہرے پر اطمینان پھیل گیا۔
“یہ تاریخ لکھ کر جا رہی اس دیوار پر۔۔اگلے سال ٹھیک اسی تاریخ اور اسی ماہ پھر آؤں گی۔ تب بتاؤں گی کہ کون ایمان بیچتا ہے اور کون عزت!!”
مارکر سے سفید چونے کی دیوار پر اکیس مارچ 2015 لکھ کر اس لڑکی نے مارکر پولیس افسر کی آنکھوں کے سامنے کیا اور ہوا میں چھوڑ دیا جس کے نتیجے میں مارکر میز پر گر گیا۔ وہ پولیس افسر مٹھیاں بھینجے اس لڑکی کی جرات دیکھ رہا تھا جو اب رخ موڑے لکڑی کا دروازہ کھول کر باہر جانے کو تیار تھی۔ لیکن ایک لمحے کے توقف کے بعد وہ پلٹی اور دلچسپی سے پولیس افسر کا چہرہ دیکھا۔
“تاریخ کے اوراق میں سنہری حروف سے لکھوائیے گا کہ جب غم شدت اختیار کر جاتا ہے تو وہی غم انسان کو مضبوط اور بےخوف بنا دیتا ہے۔ صاحب!آپ کے پاس تو کھونے کے لیے بہت کچھ ہے لیکن میرے پاس کھونے کے لیے کچھ نہیں بچا۔اس لیے طاقت میں آپ مجھ سے کم ہیں۔۔سوچیں اگر کسی رات آپ سکون سے سو رہے ہوں اور آپ کو فون آئے کہ آپ کے بیوی بچے اغوا ہوگئے ہیں تو آپ کا کیا حال ہو گا۔۔ہنہہہ!!” نخوت سے سر جھٹکا پھر مخاطب ہوئی۔ “مگر مجھے ایسا کوئی خوف نہیں ہے اس لیے مجھ سے ڈرئیے صاحب!! میں اغوا اور قتل بھی کر سکتی ہوں!”
