“مم۔میں نے صبح سے کچھ نہیں کھایا میں آپ کیلیے کھانا لاؤں ہم ساتھ میں کھاتے ہیں۔”وہ اجازت طلب نگاہوں سے اسے ہی دیکھ رہی تھی۔وہ کچھ پل اس کے ساتھ بیتانا چاہتی تھی۔
“میں ماما کے ساتھ کھاچکا ہوں۔تم کھالو۔میرا انتظار مت کیا کرو۔”وہ لیپ ٹاپ کھول کر گود میں رکھتے سنجیدگی سے بولا۔صلہ بمشکل مسکراتے اثبات میں سر ہلاگئی۔شادی کے بعد سے یہی تو ہوتا آیا تھا وہ اس کی توجہ کو ترس رہی تھی اور وہ تو بس ایک مشین کی طرح پیسہ کمانے میں لگا ہوا تھا یا پھر اپنی ماں کے علاوہ کسی کی سننے کو تیار ہی نہیں تھا۔شادی سے قبل کیسے ناہید اس کے آگے پیچھے کھانے کیلیے گھوما کرتی تھی بغیر ماتھے پہ شکن لائے اور یہاں تو کوئی پوچھنے والا بھی نہیں تھا۔
“رئید۔”اس نے کچھ سوچ کر اسے پکارا۔لہجہ ڈرا سہما سا تھا۔اس نے بغیر اس کی جانب دیکھے سر کو جنبش دی۔
“وہ پرسوں شازی آپی اور یاسر بھائی نادرن ایریاز جارہے ہیں۔ہماری شادی کو بھی اتنا وقت ہوگیا ہم کہی بھی۔”اس کی سرخ آنکھوں کو دیکھ وہ خاموش ہوگئی۔
“تو تم بھی ان کے ساتھ چلی جاؤ۔میرے سر پہ مسلط ہونے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔”وہ تنفر بھرے لہجے میں بولا۔اس کا چہرہ سرخ پڑگیا۔
“میں آپ کی ذمہداری ہوں رئید۔”اس نے ہمت مجتمع کی۔
“تین الفاظ کی مار ہے پھر تم میری ذمہداری سے فارغ ہوجاؤ گی۔”اس کی بات نے صلہ کی ذات کے پرخچے اڑادیے۔اس نے بےیقینی کی کیفیت میں رئید کو دیکھا جسے اپنی کہی بات کا کوئی اندازہ نہیں تھا۔وہ خالی ہاتھ پلٹتے کروٹ بدلتے لیٹ گئی۔
“اگر عیاشیوں کا اتنا ہی شوق تھا تو باپ کے گھر ہی کرتی۔تمہارے لیے فضول کا وقت نہیں ہے میرے پاس اور نہ ہی پیسا۔”وہ مسلسل اس پہ طنز کررہا تھا اور صلہ کے آنسو پوری رات اس کا تکیہ بگھوتے رہے تھے۔نیند آنکھوں سے کوسوں دور تھی۔صبح سے بھوکی پیاسی رات کو جب وہ اپنے شوہر کے ساتھ کھانے کی خواہاں تھی تو اس کی ساس یہ حق بھی اس سے چھین رہی تھی۔آج پھر دانیہ دودھ دینے آئی تھی اسے۔پہلے پہل تو دل چاہا کہ انکار کردے لیکن پھر رئید کے ڈر سے تھام گئی۔
“جس کی ذات کو اپنے گھر والوں کے سامنے ذلیل کررہی ہو وہ ہی شاید تمہیں یہ دودھ کا گلاس بھیجتی ہے روز۔”وہ بغیر اس کی بات کا کوئی جواب دیے چت لیٹ گئی۔
