“باجی۔۔۔۔کیا یہ سچ ہے ؟ ارمان بھائی نے آپ کو پروپوز کیا ہے ؟ “
“تمہیں یوں چھپ کر ہماری باتیں سنتے ہوئے شرم نہیں آتی باسط ؟ ابھی تم چھوٹے ہو اس ان معاملات میں دخل دینے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔۔۔۔ جاؤ اور جا کر سوجاؤ۔۔۔۔۔”
فجر نے اسے اچھی خاصی جھاڑ پلادی تو وہ منہ بناتے ہوئے بولا
“ایک تو اتنا اچھا لڑکا مل رہا ہے آپ کو اور آپ ہیں کہ اللّٰہ کا شکر کرنے کے بجائے نخرے دکھا رہے ہیں۔۔۔۔میں تو کہتا ہوں کہ آپ ارمان بھائی کو ہاں کردیں پھر ہم ان کے ساتھ ہی رہیں گے اور آپ کو جاب بھی نہیں کرنی پڑے گی۔۔۔۔”
باسط نے اپنی طرف سے ایک بہت ہی زبردست مشورہ دیا تھا اور یہ مشورہ شہلا کو بھی پسند آیا تھا لیکن فجر ناراضی سے بولی۔
“تم سے کہا کہا ہے میں نے ؟ کہ جا کر سو جاو۔۔۔۔۔بات سمجھ نہیں آتی کیا ؟ چلو اٹھو یہاں سے۔۔۔۔۔”
اس نے باسط کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اسے اٹھایا اور دروازے سے باہر دھکیل کر اسے دروازہ بند کر دیا اور واپس شہلا کے پاس آ کر بیٹھ گئی تو شہلا بولی
“ویسے۔۔۔۔۔۔باسط صحیح کہہ رہا ہے۔۔۔۔۔کیا برائی ہے اس بندے میں ؟ “
“مجھے نہیں معلوم یار۔۔۔۔۔اور۔۔۔۔ اور اگر وہ واقعی میرے لیے سنجیدہ ہے تو میرا جواب سنے بغیر بھاگا کیوں ؟ “
