“میری بات سنو اوینہ۔۔۔ ہم اس بارے میں بعد میں بات کریں گے۔۔۔۔” شفان نے اوینہ کے شاکنگ ری ایکشن کو دیکھ کر اپنی وہیل چیئر آگے بڑھاتے ہوئے نرمی بھرے انداز میں کہا تھا مگر اوینہ ہاتھ اٹھا کر اسے بولنے سے روک چکی تھی اور اپنی شہادت کی انگلی سے خود کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے اس نے اسی انگلی کو شفان کی طرف پوائنٹ آؤٹ کرنے کے بعد اپنے دوسرے ہاتھ کی انگلی میں پہلی والی انگلی کو پھنسایا اور پھر دونوں انگلیوں کو ایک جھٹکے سے الگ کرتے ہوئے شدت سے نفی میں سر ہلانے لگی تھی یعنی وہ شفان کو شادی کے لئے صاف منع کر چکی تھی۔۔ یہ دیکھ کر جہاں شفان کا چہرہ پھیکا پڑا تھا وہیں ارشمان کے ماتھے پر ناگواری سے بل پڑ گئے تھے۔۔۔
“سنا نہیں تم نے فانی کیا کہہ رہا ہے۔۔؟؟ اس بارے میں وہ تم سے بعد میں بات کرے گا ابھی تم جاؤ یہاں سے۔۔۔” ارشمان بھڑک کر غصیلے لہجے میں بولا تھا۔۔ اس سے برداشت نہیں ہوا تھا کہ یوں سب کے سامنے اوینہ جیسی معمولی لڑکی نے ارشمان بخاری کے سوئزرلینڈ پلٹ بلینیئر بھانجے کو بنا سوچے سمجھے ایک لمحے میں ریجیکٹ کر دیا تھا۔۔۔ ایسے لڑکوں کے تو لڑکیاں خواب دیکھا کرتی ہیں۔۔ ہزاروں خامیوں کے باوجود بھی انھیں خوشی خوشی اپنا لیتی ہیں مگر یہاں وہ “گونگی” معمولی سی لڑکی شفان علوی کو مسترد کر چکی تھی یہی چیز ارشمان کو تلملانے پر مجبور کر گئی تھی مگر ارشمان کا حکم سننے کے باوجود اوینہ برہمی سے اسے آنکھیں دکھاتے ہوئے پھر سے غصے سے نفی میں سر ہلانے لگی تھی۔۔۔ یہ پہلی بار تھا جب ارشمان کی برہم و اونچی آواز سن کر بھی اوینہ کو اس سے خوف نہیں آیا تھا۔۔۔ الٹا وہ اسے اپنے رعب میں لینے کی کوشش کر رہی تھی۔۔۔
“تمھاری اتنی ہمت مجھے آنکھیں دکھا رہی ہو۔۔؟؟؟” اوینہ کو اپنی بات نہ مانتے دیکھ ارشمان مزید آگ بگولہ ہوا تھا اور اپنی جگہ سے اٹھتا ہوا دھاڑا تھا اور بس۔۔ اوینہ کی بہادری صرف اتنی ہی تھی وہ ارشمان کی دھاڑ سنتے ہی دہل کر بدکتے ہوئے ایک قدم پیچھے ہوئی تھی۔۔ آنکھوں سے آنسوں ٹوٹ ٹوٹ کر گرنے لگے تھے۔۔۔ اسے روتے دیکھ کر شفان نے بے چینی سے پہلو بدلا۔۔۔
“ٹسوے بہانا بند کرو۔۔ اس سے پہلے میں تمھارا دماغ درست کر دوں ، دفع ہو جاؤ یہاں سے بدتمیز لڑکی۔۔۔” ارشمان کرسی پیچھے کھسکاتا ہوا اوینہ کی طرف بڑھتا اس سے پہلے ہی شفان نے ماموں کو پکارا تھا۔۔
