“ابا! میں تایا کے پاس جاؤں گی۔ میں جا کر ان سے پیسے مانگوں گی، وه مجھے انکار نہیں کر سکیں گے۔ آپ ایسے ہمت ہار جائیں گے، تو ماہم کو کون سنبھالے گا؟” ماہ نور نے روتے باپ کو تسلی کی تھپکی دیتے ہوئے کہا۔
” ماہ نور! اگر تمھارے تایا نے پیسے دینے ہوتے تو اب تک دے دیتے۔ دودن گزر گئے اور انھوں نے پلٹ کر پوچھا بھی نہیں۔” ثمرین نے مایوسی سے کہا۔
“امی! آپ کیوں بدظن ہو رہی ہیں تایا سے؟ میں کہوں گی تو تایا ہماری مدد ضرور کریں گے۔” ماہ نور نے ثمرین کو گلے لگاتے ہوئے کہا۔
ماہ نور اپنے ماں باپ کو تسلی دے کر گھر سے نکلی۔ دل میں ایک انجانا سا ڈر گردش کرنے لگا۔ وہ یہ ٹھان کر گئی تھی کہ وہ کسی بھی طرح تایا سے پیسے لے کر ہی لوٹے گا لیکن جب خون ہی سفید ہو جائے تو اپنے رشتے بھی احساس نہیں کرتے۔
“تایا جان! ابا نے آپ سے پیسوں کا ذکر کیا تھا۔ ہم بہت مشکل وقت سے گزر رہے ہیں۔ آپ ہماری مدد کریں گے ناں؟” ماہ نور کی آنکھوں میں حسرت اور امید کی کرن صاف نظر آرہی تھی۔
“ماہ نور! میں نے دو دن پہلے ہی فیضان کو نئی موٹر سائیکل لے کر دی ہے، میرا بہت خرچہ ہوا ہے اگر میرے پاس پیسے ہوتے تو میں ضرور دیتا۔” فرقان نے بات کو ٹالتے ہوۓ کہا۔
“تایا جان! آپ تو اپنے آفس سے رقم ادھار لے سکتے ہیں، ہم آپ کو جلد لوٹا بھی دیں گے۔۔۔۔پھر آپ واپس کر دیجیے گا۔” ماہ نور نے سسکتے ہوئے فریاد کی۔
“ماہ نور! تمھاری بات ٹھیک ہے لیکن اتنی بڑی رقم لوٹانا آسان تو نہیں ہے نا؟ میں اتنا بڑا رسک نہیں لے سکتا۔” فرقان نے انکار کرتے ہوئے ہمدردی جتائی۔ ماہ نور بہتے آنسو لیے گھر کو لوٹی اور اپنے بوڑھے ماں باپ کو دم توڑتے دیکھا۔
