“تم جادوگرنی ہو۔” وہ مبہوت سا اسے دیکھتا ہوا بے ساختہ کہہ اٹھا تھا۔
“ہم نے آپ پر کوئی جادو نہیں کیا۔” وہ مسکرائی تھی۔ اُٹھی ہوئی ناک میں چاندی کی نتھ کتنی خوبصورت لگ رہی تھی۔
“تم اسے کیا کہتی ہو؟ قسمت؟ جہاں سب کچھ نظر آنا بند ہو جائے، صرف ایک ہی صورت دکھائی دے، ایک ہی آواز سنائی دے، دل صرف ایک ہی شخص کے ساتھ کی تمنا کرے، اور باقی سب پیچھے چلا جائے۔ یہ قسمت ہے؟ محبت ہے؟ عشق ہے؟ یہ جو بھی ہے۔۔۔ بہت گہرا ہے!” وہ اپنی بھاری آواز میں بولا تھا۔ اس کی آواز خوبصورت، گہری اور سماعتوں میں اُتر جانے والی تھی۔
“یہ قسمت ہے۔ وہی ملاتی ہے دو محبت کرنے والوں کو کسی اجنبی راہ پر اور یہ محبت ہے جو قسمت سے ملتی ہے۔” وہ جواباً مسکرائی تھی۔ آنکھوں کی چمک بڑھ گئی تھی۔
“ہم خوش قسمت ہیں۔۔۔ ہمارے راستے ایک ہیں۔۔۔” چاند کو دیکھتے ہوئے اس نے سرشاری سے کہا تھا۔
“ہم آپ سے کچھ سننا چاہتے ہیں۔” اس نے اپنی چوڑیوں پر انگلی پھیرتے ہوئے نگاہیں جھکا کر کہا تھا۔
“تمہارے بغیر سب کچھ ادھورا ہے، یوں جیسے اندھیری رات میں آسمان بغیر ستاروں کے۔ تم میری زندگی میں روشنی ہو۔۔۔” اس نے بڑے جذب کے عالم میں بولتے ہوئے اس کے چہرے پر پھسلتی آوارہ لٹ کان کے پیچھے کی تھی۔ وہ اس کی اس شرارت پر ذرا جھجھکی، پھر شرمائی۔ رنگت میں گلابی گھلی تھی۔ چاند بھی شرما کر بادلوں کے پیچھے چلا گیا تھا۔
“آپ ہم سے شادی کب کریں گے؟”
اس کے لبوں سے بات پھسلی۔
“ہم جلد ہی شادی کر لیں گے۔” اس کا ہاتھ اپنے ہاتھ میں پکڑے وہ بہت محبت بھرے انداز میں کہہ رہا تھا۔
