وہ آنسو جو رخصتی کے وقت بہنے تھے وہ اب میت پر بہہ رہے تھے سب کچھ ہل کر رہ گیا تھا.
اور اس شور اور ہلچل میں وہ دولہن کا لباس پہنے خون سے بھرے ہاتھوں کو گود میں رکھے زمین پر بیٹھی ہوئی اس جگہ کو دیکھ رہی تھی جہاں کچھ دیر پہلے ایک انسان کا خون میں لت پت وجود پڑا ہوا تھا.
آنسو مسلسل بہہ رہے تھے ساکت بیٹھی کسی اداس گڑیا کا گمان دے رہی تھی. کوئی چلتا ہوا اس کے پاس آیا ,اسے کندھوں سے پکڑ کر سہارا دیتے ہوئے اٹھایا اور کھڑا کیا. وہ آنے والا انسان اسے خود سے لگاتے حوصلہ دینے لگا. اس نے چہرہ اٹھا کر اس انسان کو دیکھا اور دیکھتی رہی پھر اس کے سینے سے لگتی ہوش ہوس سے بیگانہ ہو گئی.
