“شمائل!۔۔۔۔شمائل کیا ہوا تمہیں؟۔۔۔۔پلیز آنکھیں کھولو۔۔۔۔شمائل آنکھیں کھولو نہ پلیززز”! روتے روتے وہ اسے مسلسل جھنجھوڑ رہی تھی لیکن اسکی دونوں آنکھیں بند تھیں اور وجود فرش پر ٹکا دیوار کے ساتھ ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھا۔ اس کی آنکھوں سے بہتے ہوئے اشک بھی اب بہنا بند ہو گئے تھے۔ اس کے گریبان کو پکڑ کر وہ چیخ چیخ کر اسے ہلا رہی تھی لیکن وہ بالکل بے جان معلوم ہو رہا تھا۔
“نہیں شمائل۔۔۔۔۔تم مجھے چھوڑ کر نہیں جا سکتے۔۔۔۔۔شمائل دیکھو اگر تمہیں کچھ بھی ہو گیا نا تو میں خود کو کبھی بھی معاف نہیں کر پاؤں گی۔۔۔۔۔تمہیں میری قسم پلیز آنکھیں کھولو نا۔۔۔۔شمائل تم سن رہے ہو نا؟۔۔۔۔۔میں تمہیں کہہ رہی ہوں تم جواب کیوں نہیں دیتے؟۔۔۔۔۔شمائل آنکھیں کھولو”! مسلسل اسے ہلاتے ہوئے اس نے آخری فقرہ مکمل کرتے ہی پوری قوت سے اس کے چہرے پر تھپڑ مارا۔
“یہ کیا کر رہی ہو پریشے”؟ اپنے بولنے کی قوت کو محسوس کر کے ایلسا جھٹ سے اسکے قریب آ بیٹھی۔
“تت۔۔۔۔تم نے کہا تھا نا یہ سب کرنے کو۔۔۔۔۔تو اب یہ آنکھیں کیوں نہیں کھول رہا؟۔۔۔۔۔ ایلسا۔۔۔۔۔۔اگر شمائل کو کچھ ہو گیا نہ۔۔۔۔تت۔۔۔تت۔۔۔۔تو۔۔۔۔ممم۔۔۔۔مم۔۔۔میں بھی اپنی جان دے دوں گی۔۔۔۔پپ۔۔۔۔پلیز اس سے کہو نا کہ اپنی آنکھیں کھولے۔۔۔۔پلیززززز”! ڈگمگاتی ہوئی آواز کے ساتھ وہ اپنی دوست کی منتیں کر رہی تھی۔
