“دیکھیں سر میں آپ کو نہیں جانتی نا میں وہاں آپکے لیے آئی تھی۔ لیکن آپ نے یہ سب سینیریو پیدا کرکے خود کو مشکوک کر لیا ہے۔ سو اب بہتر ہوگا کہ آپ کچھ بتا دیں۔”
کہتے کہتے علایا فون کی اسکرین بھی کھول چکی تھی اور اب وہی تصاویر اسی شخص کے سامنے اسکرول کیں۔
“کیا آپ نے ان میں سے کسی کو مشکوک حرکت میں ملوث دیکھا ہے؟”
شخص نے نفی میں سر ہلایا ۔
“تو پھر آپ وہاں سے بھاگے کیوں؟”
وہ شخص علایا کی شکل دیکھے گیا۔
“یہ ایسے نہیں بولے گا۔تھانے کا چکر لگوانا پڑے گا۔”
سرمد بولتا آگے آیا۔ علایا نے ہاتھ کے اشارے اسے روکا۔
“ویٹ سرمد۔۔۔۔۔وہ کچھ جانتا ہے لیکن اسے الفاظ میں بیان کرنا نہیں آرہا ۔”علایا بولی تھی لیکن اگلے ہی لمحے خود ہی چونکی ۔اس شخص کی طرف مکمل متوجہ ہوئی۔
“قتل ۔۔۔۔۔آپ نے قتل ہوتے دیکھا ہے رائٹ؟”سوال بجلی کی طرح علایا کے دماغ میں ٹپکا تھا۔
وہ شخص ابھی بھی علایا کو دیکھے گيا۔ہاں اب کی بار سر نفی میں نہیں ہلایا گيا۔
علایا نے ماتھا کھجایا۔وہ مزید بہترین ہنٹ سوچ رہی تھی۔
“وہ زندہ تھا۔”وہ شخص مری سی آواز میں بولا تھا۔
علایا ٹھٹھکی ۔سرمدبھی متوجہ ہوا۔
“میں نے دیکھا تھا وہ زندہ تھا لیکن وہ اسے وہاں دفنا کے چلا گيا ۔”
“کون۔۔۔۔کو ن زندہ تھا؟”علایا بولی۔
“کیا یہ ابراہیم کی بات کر رہا ہے؟”سرمد نے جیسے ہوا میں تیر مارنا چاہا۔
علایا کے ماتھے کے بل گہرے ہوئے۔
“جو بھی ہوا آپ مجھے شروع سے بتائيں۔کہاں ہوا ؟آپ وہاں کیا کر رہے تھے؟”علایا نے فون کی ریکارڈنگ آن کی
اچانک سرمد کا فون رنگ کرنے لگا۔
“تھانے سے کال ہے ۔اس عورت والے کیس کی پروگریس کے متعلق ہے ۔آئی گيس۔”
سرمد نے کال آن کی اور کال سنتا باہر کو نکل گیا۔
علایا واپس اس شخص کی طرف متوجہ ہوئی۔
اس شخص نے خشک ہونٹوں پر زبان پھیری۔آنکھوں میں خوف ابھی بھی موجود تھا۔
