“کیا ڈھونڈ رہی ہے؟”
“ان کی تصویر تھی یہاں۔۔۔۔کہاں گئی؟”
“میں نے اٹھا کر بیڈ پر رکھ دی ہے۔” اس کے بتانے کی دیر تھی اور وہ پھرتی سے کھڑی ہو کر بیڈ پر دیکھنے لگی۔ خان کی تصویر کو پا کر وہ ایک بار پھر سے تڑپتی ہوئی اسے اپنے سینے سے لگا گئی تھی۔ زمیل کو اس کی حرکت پر شدید افسوس ہوا۔
“خان بھائی کی اتنی ہی یاد آرہی ہے تو چل تجھے میں قبرستان لے جاتا ہوں۔”
“کون سے قبرستان کی بات کر رہا ہے؟ ان کی لاش کو تو بھائی نے جلا دیا تھا۔” اس نے نگاہیں اٹھائیں۔
“ہاں لیکن اس کی ہڈیوں کو اکٹھا کر کے بھائی نے ایک قبر میں دفنا دیا تھا۔۔۔۔۔تاکہ ہم اس کی قبر پر جا کر فاتحہ پڑھ سکیں۔”
“کیا سچ میں؟” وہ بے یقین تھی۔
“ہاں۔۔۔چل میرے ساتھ!” اس نے بہن کو کندھوں سے پکڑ کر سہارا دیا اور اپنے ساتھ ساتھ چلانے لگا۔ وہ اس کی تصویر کو بھی سینے سے لگائے ہوئے اپنے ساتھ ہی لے آئی تھی۔ سفر کے دوران بھی اس نے ایک پل کے لیے بھی خان کی تصویر کو خود سے الگ نہیں ہونے دیا تھا۔ جب تک وہ قبرستان پہنچے تب تک اندھیرا چھانے لگا اور قبرستان پہلے سے بھی زیادہ وحشت ناک محسوس ہوا۔ قبرستان کے دروازے پر ہی کھڑے ہو کر زمیل نے اندر جھانکا تو ڈر لگا۔ پھر پہلو میں کھڑی بہن کی طرف دیکھا تو وہ اندر جانے کے لیے تیار کھڑی تھی۔ اس کا انتظار کیے بنا ہی وہ خود بخود دروازہ کھول کر اندر چلی گئی۔ زمیل نے بادلِ ناخواستہ اپنے قدموں کو اس کے پیچھے ہی چلا دیا۔ اس نے ایک قبر کی طرف اشارہ کیا تو سہل کی اسکی تختی پر نظر پڑی۔ یہاں جرمنی زبان میں خان کا نام اور وفات کا دن لکھا تھا۔ اس کے نام کے ساتھ مرحوم لکھا دیکھ وہ پھر سے اپنے آنسوؤں پر قابو نہیں کر پائی تھی۔
“سہل تجھے یہاں اس وقت قبرستان میں ڈر نہیں لگ رہا؟”
“جب کوئی اپنا مر جاتا ہے ناں تو پھر قبرستان سے وحشت نہیں ہوتی۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔بلکہ عشق ہو جاتا ہے۔” اس نے سسک کر کہا اور اس کی قبر سے لپٹ کر زار و قطار روئی۔ زمیل اس کے قریب بیٹھا تسلی کے طور پر اسکے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرتا رہا۔ مسلسل رونے کی وجہ سے اس کی آنکھیں جہاں پہلے صرف سرخ تھیں اب سُوج بھی گئی تھیں۔ اسے جب لگا کہ اگر وہ مزید یہاں رکی تو اپنے حواس کھو بیٹھے گی۔ تو پھر اسے زبردستی کھینچتا ہوا گاڑی میں واپس بٹھا گیا۔
“زمیل مجھے یہیں رہنا ہے۔ پلیز تُو چلا جا۔۔۔۔واپس چلا جا۔”
