پھر ایک زوردار دھماکہ فضا کو چیر گیا۔ وہ پیچھے کو دوڑا، سانس رکنے لگا۔ چاروں طرف مٹی تھی، بکھرے ہوئے ٹوٹے برتن، خون کی چھینٹیں اور ملبے تلے دبی ایک عورت کا ہاتھ۔۔۔ساتھ ہی ایک بلبل….وہ مری پڑی تھی اس عورت کے قریب۔ دونوں ایک جیسے بے جان، ایک جیسے مظلوم۔
وہ ہڑبڑا کر اٹھا۔ سانسیں تیز، ماتھا پسینے سے شرابور۔ چہرے پر خوف اور دکھ کی ایک ملی جلی پرچھائی۔ آسمان پر باریک سا چاند بادلوں میں چھپا بیٹھا تھا۔ زمین پر چادر بیچھائے وہ شخص پسینے میں بھیگا ہوا جیسے نیند میں نہیں، بلکہ کسی جنگ میں لڑتا رہا ہو۔
”کیا ہوا؟ پھر وہی خواب؟“ اس نے چند لمحے خاموشی میں گزارے جیسے الفاظ اس کے حلق میں اٹک گئے ہوں۔ پھر دھیرے سے بولا۔ “ہاں۔۔۔ لیکن آج کچھ الگ تھا۔ اس بار ایک عورت کا ہاتھ تھا ملبے تلے دبا ہوا اور اس کے ساتھ بلبل بھی تھی۔” وہ اب تک گہرے سانس لے رہا تھا۔
