“زیمل۔ تم زرا میرے ساتھ آؤ۔ میں تمہیں تمہارا کمرہ دکھاتا ہوں۔ زیغم بھابھی کا سامان انکے کمرے میں رکھ آؤ۔” زین اسے ساتھ لے کر سیڑھیاں چڑھنے لگا۔ زمان اس وقت تک خاموش تماشائی بنا کھڑا رہا۔ وہ ابھی کسی کی بات میں بھی نہیں بولا تھا۔ ان دونوں کے جاتے ہی زمان دھڑام سے صوفے پر گرا۔ اس نے اپنی کنپٹاں مسلیں۔
“یار زیغم ایک گلاس پانی لے آؤ۔”
“ویسے اب بیوی آگئی ہے تو میرے کاموں میں کچھ کمی ہو گی یا نہیں ؟”
“بکواس بند ہو سکتی ہے ؟” زمان نے بند آنکھوں سے تھکے ہوئے لہجے میں کہا۔
“اب تو میں برا ہی لگوں گا۔” اس نے افسوس سے کہا۔
“تم جا رہے ہو یا میں خود چلا جاؤ؟”
“جا رہا ہوں! انکار کب کیا ہے؟” وہ نفی میں سر ہلاتے ہوئے کچن میں چلا گیا۔
“یا اللہ مجھے اور اسے صبر دے۔” وہ کنپٹی مسلتا رہا۔
وہ دونوں ٹہلتے ٹہلتے، اب کمرے تک جا رہے تھے۔ زیمل بلکل خاموش تھی۔ کسی بات کا نہ جواب نہ کوئی سوال۔ زین بول رہا تھا۔
“تمہارا بھائی ہونے کے ناتے میں تمہیں دو چار باتیں کہنا چاہتا ہوں۔ اگر میری کوئی حقیقی بہن بھی ہوتی تو شاید اسکے لیے میں زمان کا ہی انتخاب کرتا اور تم اس خانے کو میرے لیے پر کر چکی ہو۔ ایک بھائی ہونے کی حثیت سے میں تمہیں یہ نصیحت کروں گا کہ، زمان ایک بہت اچھا لڑکا ہے، اگر تم دونوں ایک دوسرے کو سمجھ کر چلو گے تو زندگی آسان ہو گی۔ یہ وقت تو نہیں ہے کہ میں کہوں کہ کسی خوشگوار ماحول میں باتیں کرو لیکن ایک دوسرے کو مارجن ضرور دینا۔” زین سمجھاتا جا رہا تھا۔ پھر وہ اسکے کمرے کے باہر رک گیا اور آخری بار مسکرا کر کہی۔ اسکے سر پر ہاتھ رکھ کر کمرے کا دروازہ کھول دیا۔ زیمل بمشکل زبردستی مسکرا کر کمرے میں چلی گئی۔
زین ابھی اپنے کمرے کا رخ کرنے ہی والا تھا کہ زیمل کا سامان تھامے، زمان کمرے کے باہررکا۔
“کر لی باتیں؟ اب کوئی بات مجھ سے بھی کر لو۔” زمان نے اسے مخاطب کیا۔
“یار تم سے میں کیا بات کروں؟ تم تو ہمارے سپر مین ہو۔” زین ہلکا سا ہنس دیا۔ زمان بھی ہنس دیا۔
“صبح ملتے ہیں پھر یار۔” زین اسکی پیٹھ تھپتھپا کر آگے بڑھ گیا۔
