“زیغم! باہرگارڈ نہیں ہے۔ دروازہ کھول آو۔” زین نے چلا کر کہا تھا۔ کچن میں کھڑا اگر وہ دھیمی آواز میں بات کرتا تو زیغم تک بلکل آواز نہ جاتی۔
“زیغم!” وہاں کھڑے دوسرے نفوس نے ٹھیک ٹھاک گہری اور اونچی آواز میں اسے پکارا تھا۔
“جی زمان بھائی! جا رہا ہوں۔” بہت دور سے اسکی آواز زمان اور زین کو آگئی تھی۔
“تمہاری آواز تو اسے فوراً چلی جاتی ہے۔” زین نے فرائی پین میں تیل ڈالتے ہوئے اسے کہا۔ دونوں کی پشت ایک دوسرے کی طرف تھی۔ سرمائی اور کالے رنگ کے ماڈرن کچن جس میں کہیں کہیں لکڑی کا کام ہوا تھا، میں اس وقت وہ دونوں کھانا بنانے میں مصروف تھے۔
“تم جس قدر پیار محبت سے بلاتے ہو اس نے سننا بھی نہیں ہے۔ ڈھیٹ ہو گیا ہے۔” زمان کو تو جیسے اس پر غصہ چڑھ گیا تھا۔
“زمان وہ چھوٹا ہے! تم زرا اس پر ہاتھ ہولا رکھا کرو۔” زین نے واقعی اسے سر پر چڑھایا ہوا تھا۔
“زین تم، ابو اور چاچو نے اسے بہت سر پر چڑھایا ہے۔ بائیس سالوں کا ہو گیا ہے لیکن سب لوگ اسے ایسے بچوں کی طرح ٹریٹ کرتے ہو جیسے وہ ابھی دو سال کا ہے۔” زمان نے کٹا ہوا پیاز تیل والے فرائی پین میں ڈال دیا۔
“زمان تمہیں پتا ہے نہ وہ تائی جی سے کتنا attached تھا۔ پھر دس سال کا تو تھا جب وہ ہمیں چھوڑ گئیں۔ اور پھر مام نے اسے کتنا سنبھالا۔ اب چھ سال ہو گئے انکو گزرے ہوئے بھی تو پاپا اور بڑے پاپا اس لئے اسکو اس ان دونوں کی کمی محسوس نہیں ہونے دیتے۔ تم بھی سمجھو یار اس بات کو۔” زین نے اسکے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھ کر سمجھایا۔
