”زیمل آپ نے کہاں سے پڑھا ہے لاء؟ “ اشرف سلطان نے بھی حصہ ڈالا۔
”ابو جان، میں نے external degree کی ہے۔ یونیورسٹی آف لندن سے۔“ زیمل نے مسکرا کر بتایا۔
”وہ رشوت لے لیتے ہیں؟“ زمان نے مکمل توجہ کھانے پر رکھ کر زیمل پر طنز کیا۔
”ابو جان میں ڈسٹنکشن ہولڈر ہوں۔“ زیمل نے جواب پہنچا دیا تھا لیکن شکل پر ابھی مسکراہٹ تھی اور وہ ابھی بھی مخاطب اشرف سلطان سے ہی تھی۔
”تمہیں پتا ہے، زمان بھی اپنے کالج کا گولڈ میڈلسٹ رہا ہے۔“ زین نے منہ میں لقما رکھتے ہوئے کہا۔
”یہاں تو رشوت چل بھی جاتی ہے۔“ زیمل نے جواب واپس کر دیا۔
”تمہیں کیسے پتا چلا؟ اے سی سی اے میں بھی رشوت چلتی ہے۔ ان فیکٹ اکفرڈ بروکس والے تو ابو جان کے بہت بڑے مرید ہیں۔“ زمان نے نہایت سنجیدگی سے کہا۔ زیمل کو نہیں پتا تھا کہ وہ اے سی سی اے ہے۔ اور اے سی سی اے کی ڈگری بھی برطانیہ کی ہوتی ہے، اکسفرڈ بروکس یونی ورسٹی کی۔ زیمل کے کانوں سے دھواں نکلنے لگا۔
”دلاور، آفس کا کچھ حساب کتاب کرنا ہے۔ زرا آ جاؤ میرے ساتھ۔“ اشرف سطان انکی باتوں سے لطف اندوز ہو رہے تھے۔ لیکن انہوں نے بچوں کو اکیلا چھوڑنا مناسب سمجھا۔ وہ میز چھوڑ کر چلے گئے۔
”تم دونوں کم از کم ابو جان اور بابا کا لہاظ ہی کر لیا کرو۔“ زین نے باری باری دونوں کو گھورا۔
”بہت مزہ آ رہا تھا، زمان بھائی، بھابھی۔“ زیغم نے مسکرا کر پانی کا گلاس لبوں سے لگایا۔
”زیغم میں مذاق نہیں کر رہا۔“ زین اب کی بار سنجیدہ ہوا۔
”میں نے شروع نہیں کیا تھا۔“ زیمل نے پلیٹ سے ہاتھ کھینچ کر فوراً صفائی پیش کی۔
”زمان وہ ٹھیک کہہ رہی ہے۔“ زین نے اب مکمل توجہ زمان کی طرف کر دی تھی۔
”واٹ؟ میں صرف ایک سرسری سی بات کی تھی۔ اسکو ہر بات پر ریایکٹ کرنے کی عادت سی پڑ گئی ہے۔“
