The contrast is stark: one prioritizes love (Mohabbat), while the other chooses honor and survival (Aabroo aur Baqa), fighting a harrowing battle to protect her dignity. This is a painful saga of self-destruction in love (Ishq main Fanaa), emotional betrayal (Mohabbat main Jafa), and, for some, a struggle for spiritual and religious preservation (Mazhabi Baqa).
Rabi Siraj’s life begins under the shadow of a cruel stepmother. Raised by her grandmother, her innocent heart falls for her paternal cousin, Asid Ikramah. Yet, fate is cruel; Asid’s affections are reserved for Rabi’s step-sister, Kiran. Rabi’s castle of dreams is utterly destroyed by one momentary lapse on Asid’s part. Following her grandmother’s death, life becomes unbearable, leaving her with no option but to choose the lonely path of escape (Faraar). Rabi’s journey is a deeply emotional depiction of betrayal, loss, and the desperation that pushes a character to abandon everything they know.
