دونوں سیڑھیاں چڑھ کر چھت پر آگئے۔
” گھٹیا انسان۔۔۔ شرم نہیں آئی تجھے ایسی حرکت کرتے ہوئے؟ ” رئیس نے اُسکے کاندھے پر زور سے مکا مارتے ہوئے کہا۔عزیز ایک پل کو پیچھے کی طرف ہوا ۔اُسنے چہرہ موڑ کر کاندھے کو دیکھا اور پھر سوالیہ نظروں سے رئیس کو۔
” کیا کہہ رہے ہو؟ اور یہ کس لہجے میں بات کر رہے ہو؟” عزیز نے بے یقینی سے پوچھا۔
” اور کس لہجے میں بات کروں تجھ سے؟ اپنی بیوی کو آزماتا ہے؟ شرم نہیں آئی ایسی حرکت کرتے ہوئے؟ جانتے ہو کتنی پریشان رہی وہ بیچاری تیری اس حرکت کی وجہ سے؟ کرنا برا وقت دیکھا اُسنے؟” رئیس غصے سے بولے جارہا تھا۔اُسکا چہرہ سرخ تھا غصے کی وجہ سے۔
” کونسی حرکت کی بات کر رہے ہو؟ ” عزیز جان گیا تھا لیکن پھر بھی پوچھا۔
” آدھی رات کو اپنی ہی بیوی کو غیر مرد بن اور ڈراتے ہو۔۔۔اسے آزماتے ہو۔۔۔ افسوس ہے تم اور۔۔۔۔رئیس بولے جارہا تھا کہ پیچھے سے لاریب کی آواز آئی۔وہ جو وہاں پہلے ہی موجود تھی اور سب سن چکی تھی۔
” عزیز ” دکھ سے بھری بوجھل آواز میں وہ بس اتنا ہی کہہ پائی۔دونوں نے چہرہ موڑ کر دیکھا پیچھے لاریب کھڑی تھی۔
” عزیز کیا وہ آپ تھے؟ بتائیں جواب دیں۔۔کیا کہہ رہا ہے رئیس ۔۔کہہ دیں یہ جھوٹ بول رہا ہے۔” لاریب اُسکا گریبان پکڑ کر اسکو جھنجھوڑنے لگی۔عزیز کسی بےجان مورت کی طرح کھڑا ہل رہا تھا لاریب کے جھنجھوڑنے پر۔اُسکی خاموشی لاریب کو مار رہی تھی۔
رئیس نہیں چاہتا تھا کہ لاریب یہ سب سن لے۔لیکن شاید اُسکی قسمت میں سننا لکھا تھا۔لاریب کو لگا اس میں کھڑا ہونے کی سخت نہیں رہی وہ چارپائی کا سہارا لیکے بیٹھ ہے ایک کونے میں۔
