پھولوں سے تھوڑا آگے کا منظر عجیب تھا۔
انسانی کھوپڑیاں، بجھی آگ سے اٹھتا دھواں،کچرا کونڈی ،حانم گھونٹ پھرتے پیچھے مڑی اور مہمت سے ٹکرائی۔
“پھول نہیں چاہے واپس چلیں۔۔۔”
اس نے مہمت کا ہاتھ زور سے پکڑا۔۔ اس کا ہاتھ ٹھنڈا یخ ہو رہے تھے۔
پاس پڑی ٹوٹی ہوئی چار پائی سے کسی کے اٹھنے کی آواز آئی ۔
مہمت کا اس طرف چہرہ تھا اور حانم کی کمر۔۔
“پیچھے مت دیکھنا۔۔۔”
وہ بلکل سنجیدہ تھا حانم نے خوف کے مارے اسکی شرٹ نوچ ڈالی۔
“کیوں۔۔”؟وہ بمشکل بول پائی۔۔چارپائی کی چرچر کی آواز مسلس آرہی تھی۔
“شش۔۔۔”چپ کرکے گاڑی میں جا کر بیٹھو،کچھ بھی ہو جائے پیچھے مت دیکھنا۔۔۔مہمت نے اس کے کان میں سرگوشی کی۔
“اور آپ۔۔۔؟سرگوشی میں بولتےشرٹ کو مسلسل نوچ رہی تھی.
“حانم جاؤ”
مہمت نے اس کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر گاڑی کی طرف کیا وہ مسلس چارپائی کی طرف دیکھ رہا تھا۔
حانم بھاگتی ہو گاڑی کی طرف گی سیٹ پر بیٹھے اس کی ڈھرکن سر میں لگ رہی تھی۔
سانس آٹک اٹک کر آرہی تھی مہمت جلدی سے گاڑی میں آیا ریسورس کیر لگاتے سٹیریل ویل پورا گھوما کر ایک سکینڈ میں ریسورس کیا ۔۔گاڑی اب کچی سڑک پر تیزی سے دوڑرہی تھی۔
حانم نے پیچھے کی طرف دیکھنا چاہا۔۔
“اوں ہوں نہیں ۔۔۔ پیچھے مت دیکھنا۔۔”
مہمت گاڑی ایسے چلا رہا تھا جیسے کوئی پیچھا کر رہا ہے
روڑ پر آتے ہے دو کتے یک دم سامنے آئے ۔۔ گاڑی کے ٹائر چرچر کی آواز سے روکے۔۔۔
