” ہیلو آپ کی کال آرہی تھی میں تھوڑا بزی ۔۔۔”
وہ کہہ رہی تھی جب دوسری جانب سے درشتی سے بات کاٹ دی گئی ۔
“میری بات سنیں محترمہ اگر آپ یہ سمجھتی ہیں کہ اس زبردستی کے بندھن میں بندھنے کے بعد میں آپکو قبول کرلوں گا یا بیوی کے درجے پر فائز کرکے گھسی پٹی کہانیوں کی طرح محبت کر بیٹھوں گا تو آپکی بھول ہے، اس بندھن میں صرف خسارہ آپکے حصے میں آئے گا، بہتر ہے ابھی سنبھل جائیں۔ ” وہ وارننگ دے رہاتھا، آنے والے وقت سے ڈرا رہا تھا، خرد کو ہنسی آگئی ۔۔۔ وہ محبت میں اس کی جنونیت سے واقف ہوتا تو یہ کبھی نہ کہتا ۔
“میں ان مشکلات سے ڈرنے والی نہیں ہوں، آپ ایک بار میرے ہوجائیں، آپکا دل بھی میرا ہو جاۓ گا۔ ” وہ خوش فہمی کی سب سے اونچی سیڑھی پر بیٹھی پر یقین لہجے میں کہہ رہی تھی ۔
“بہت پچھتائیں گی خرد صاحبہ ” دوسری جانب لہجہ سخت ہوگیا تھا تپش برقرار تھی۔
“منظور ہے” وہ کھلکھلائی تھی ۔
“ٹھیک ہے یہ آپکا فیصلہ ہے بعد میں مجھ سے گلہ مت کیجیے گا۔” وہ کھٹاک سے فون بند کر گیا تھا، خرد نے نوٹس نہ لیا، اپنی خوشی میں آنے والے وقت کی سختی کا اندازہ ہی نہ کرسکی۔
