’’جیسا تم چاہو یہ خادم ویسا ہی کرے گا‘‘۔
’’پھر بھی پتا تو چلے کہ کیا کروگے تم اور کیا ہوگا؟‘‘۔
’’تمہارا ایک ہی تو سپنا ہے جو اب میرا بھی بن چکا ہے‘‘۔
’’وہ کیا؟‘‘۔
’’میرا ہاتھ پکڑ کہ تاج محل کے سامنے بیٹھ کر گھنٹوں تاج محل کو دیکھنا٬ یہی نا؟‘‘
’’جنید ادھورا خواب کیوں بتا رہے ہو؟‘‘.
’’ارے کب آدھا کہا میں نے۔جو تم نے ایک سو دفعا مجھے کہا ہے٬ وہی تو میں نے دہرایا ہے اور کیا‘‘۔
’’اچھا میں نے یہ کب بولا ہے کہ گھنٹوں تک٬ ہاں!‘‘
’’سوری سوری! پورا دن بیٹھ کر تاج کو دیکھنا٬ یہی نا۔۔؟‘‘.
’’واہ! جناب آپ بھی خوب ہیں٬ جب آپ کو ابھی سے ہی میرے خواب اور اس سے جُڑی خواہش کو بھول جانے کی بیماری لگ چکی ہے٬ تو شادی کے بعد خواب کو پورا کرنا تو دور٬ یہ خواب ایک خواب ہی رہنے دوگے مجھے لگ رہا ہے‘‘۔
’’ الکا! ادھر دیکھو میری طرف‘‘۔ جنید نے پیار سے پکارا۔
’’کہو‘‘۔ میں نے بھی اُس کی پکار پر اُس کی طرف دیکھ کر کہا۔
’’کیا تمہیں مجھ پر اور میری محبت پر بس اتنا ہی اعتبار ہے؟ یا میں اتنا اہل ہی نہیں کہ تمہارا کہا ہوا کچھ بھی پورا نہ کر سکو ں؟‘‘. جنید کا چہرا ایک دم ذرا اُداس سا لگنے لگا۔
’’میرا وہ مطلب نہیں تھا٬ جُنی قسم سے‘‘۔ الکا نے فوراً کہا۔
’’دیکھو الکا‘‘۔ اُس نے پیار سے میرا ہاتھ اپنے ہاتھوں میں لیکر کہا۔’’ زندگی دھوپ چھاؤں جیسی ہے۔ ہم قدم قدم پر ساتھ ہیں اور ساتھ رہیں گے بھی۔ کبھی بھول کہ یہ نہ سوچنا کہ میں بدل جاؤنگا۔ کہو تو قسم کھاؤ ں تاج محل کی‘‘۔ وہ بول کہ مسکرا نے لگا٬ اور اُس کی اس بات پر ہم دونوں ہی ہنسے لگے۔ یہاں تک کہ باتوں باتوں میں وقت گذرنے کا پتا ہی نہیں چلا۔ اچانک میرے دماغ کا الارم تب ہی بجا٬ جب میں نے اپنی کلائی میں گھڑی پر نظر ڈ الی اور میری چیخ نکلتے نکلتے رہ گئی۔
’’کیا ہوا؟ ‘‘ جنید پر یشان سا ہوکر میری طرف دیکھنے لگا۔
’’مرگئی میں! ٹائیم دیکھو ذرا‘‘۔
’’ہاں شام کے چار بج رہے ہیں‘‘۔ اُس نے اپنی موبائیل میں ٹائیم دیکھا ،اور گرمی کے دن ہیں کیا نئی بات ہوگئی٬ جُني مذاقاًبولا‘‘۔
