کومل کافی کا مگ اٹھا کر منہ کے قریب لے کر جاتے ہوئےبولی۔
جی ۔جی پوچھیے ۔
عیان کافی کا کپ اٹھا کر کھڑکی سے باہر ہونے والی موسلا دھار بارش سے لطف اندوز ہونے کے لیے کھڑکی کے قریب جا کھڑا ہوا ۔ اور باہر گھورتے ہوئے بولا.
کبھی کبھی ایسا کیوں ہوتا ہے کہ کچھ لوگ اجنبی ہوتے ہوئے بھی اپنے اپنے سے لگتے ہیں
کومل شرما سی گئی اور وہ بھی کافی کا مگ لیے کھڑکی کے پاس عیان کے سامنے جا کر کھڑی ہو گئی۔
اچھا ۔——مثلاًکون ۔
کومل شرما کر مسکراتے ہوئے معنی خیزسوالیہ انداز میں بولی۔
عیان بے دھڑک کومل کی آنکھوں میں جھانکتے ہوئے بولا۔
مثلاً ——-آپ۔
چند لمحے دونوں طرف سکوت رہا ۔پھر اچانک چونک کر کلائی موڑ کر وقت دیکھتے ہوئے بولی ۔
ارے انٹرویو کا وقت تو گزر چکا ہے.
عیان بولا.
پریشانی کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔شاید یہ نوکری میرے نصیب میں تھی ہی نہیں ۔شاید یہ تو آپ سے ملنے کا بہانہ تھا ۔میں نکلا تو نوکری کی تلاش میں تھا مگر راستے میں ہی منزل مل گئی۔
کومل دل ہی دل میں بہت خوش تھی کہ احساسات صرف اس کے دل میں نہیں بلکہ عیان کے دل میں بھی برابر پنپ رہے ہیں .
کومل بولی.
میں بھی ایسے موسم سے بہت گھبراتی تھی مگر نجانے کیوں آج بغیر سوچے سمجھے نکل آئی ۔
مگر بھولی بھالی کومل عیان کے معصوم چہرے کی شرافت و سادگی کو دیکھ کر بھول گئی تھی کہ اگر مرد اور عورت اکیلے ہوں تو شیطان کو درمیان میں آتے دیر نہیں لگتی ۔اور یوں کسی بھی اجنبی پر بھروسہ کرنا کسی بھی کنواری بچی کو کسی بھی نوجوان مرد کے پاس تنہائی میں رہنا اس کے لیے کتناخطرناک ہو سکتا ہے اس بات کا اندازہ شاید کومل کو نہ تھا۔
اور ویسے بھی ہرکسی کی اچھائی یا برے ہونے کا قیاس اس کی ظاہری حالت سے لگانا ایک دشوار گزار کام ہے اور ایسا کرنے والوں کو اکثر منہ کی کھانی پڑتی ہے
دیکھو تو اک شکن نہیں ہے لباس میں
سوچو تو سلوٹوں سے بھری ہے تمام روح
کومل کی کافی ختم ہو چکی تھی مگر نجانے کیوں اس کا سر بھاری ہونے لگا ۔ اور چکر سا آیا اور وہ لڑ کھڑا سی گئی ۔مگر عیان نے اس کو سنبھال لیا اور سہارا دے کر صوفے پر بٹھادیا۔
