مرکزی خیال اور فلسفہ: ناول “زادِ راہ” کا بنیادی محور انسانی زندگی کا وہ سفر ہے جس کا اختتام آخرت پر ہوتا ہے۔ وردہ اسلم نے اس کہانی کے ذریعے یہ پیغام دینے کی کوشش کی ہے کہ انسان اس دنیا میں مسافر ہے اور ہر مسافر کو اپنے سفر کے لیے کچھ نہ کچھ زادِ راہ (توشہ) چاہیے ہوتا ہے۔ اس ناول میں یہ توشہ “نیک اعمال”، “صبر” اور “اللہ پر کامل بھروسہ” دکھایا گیا ہے۔
