“توبہ ہے لڑکی تم سے کوئی باتوں میں جیت سکا ہے آج تک مگر بیٹا جی سسرال میں رہنے کے لیے بھی کچھ سیکھ ضروری ہے اب کیا فائدہ ایسے ہنر کا کہ دال بھی نا بنانی آئے “دادی نے ارشین پر وار کیا تھا وہ کھلکھلا کر ہنس پڑی ۔
کل کی بنائی پھیکی دال کا ذائقہ اس کے حلق میں آ گیا تھا ۔
“ہمیں معلوم ہے دادی سسرال میں کیسے رہا جاتا ہے ” ثمرین جو خاموشی سے گفتگو سن رہی تھی بولی۔
“اچھا تو پھر بتاؤ لڑکی کو گویا سسرال میں کیسے رہنا چاہیے ؟” دادا جان ابھی کمرے میں داخل ہوئے تھے انہوں نے ثمرین کی بات سنتے اس سے سوال کیا ۔ ثمرین نے ہچکچاتے کہنا شروع کیا ۔
“لڑکی کو۔۔” اس نے آنکھیں ٹپٹپاتے بہنوں کو دیکھتے کہا۔۔
“بہت ڈھیر سارا میک اپ کرنا چاہیے ،بھاری بھاری زیور پہننا چاہیے ،بہت اچھے کپڑے پہننا چاہیے ،خوب گھومنا چاہیے” جیسے جیسے وہ بولتی گئی فرحین اور ثمرین اپنے قہقہے ضبط کرنے لگیں ۔اس کی زبان کو بریک ان دونوں کے سرخ پڑتے چہروں سے لگی تھی ۔
دادا ہکا بکا کھڑے اس کے چہرے کو دیکھ کر مایوسی و نا امیدی سے گویا ہوئے ۔
“انااللہ واناالیہ راجیون” کہتے ٹوپی سر سے اتار کر میز پر رکھی ۔دادی اس کی معصومیت پر مسکرانے لگیں ۔
ارشین اور فرحین کے چھت پھاڑ قہقہے بلند ہوئے تبھی کچھ ہی لمحوں بعد دروازہ کھولے بی بی جان نمودار ہوئیں۔
“اگر ٹھٹھہ مذاق ختم ہو گیا ہو تو آکر ماں کی مدد کروا دو.معلوم بھی ہے کہ رات کو راشد بھائی کی فیملی کا کھانا ہے ” آندھی طوفان کی طرح آئیں اور بجلی گرا کر چل دیں۔
“کیا سعد بھی آرہا ہے ؟ ” ارشین نے پوچھا ۔
“معلوم نہیں آپی ۔نازو باجی کہہ رہی تھیں کہ اب شادی پر ہی آنا ہو ” سعد کے نام پر فرحین کا چہرہ گلنار ہوا تھا ۔وہ آج کل سر مست دھنک رنگ ہواؤں میں سانس لینے لگی تھی۔
“مجھے یقین ہے آفیسر بن کر بھی اس کی مسخریاں کم نہیں ہوئی ہوں گی ” ۔ارشین نے ہنستے ہوئے کہا تھا ۔ اس کی بات پر سب ہی مسکرا اٹھی تھیں ۔
