• ”کیونکہ میں ڈیزرو یہی کرتی ہوں، میں سب جانتی تھی سفیر کی نیت بھی اور ارادے بھی۔۔“ ہانی کے الفاظ پر اسے روکنے کے لیے بڑھتا دارام شاکڈ سا رک گیا تھا۔
شاٸنہ بیگم نے پریشانی سے ہانی کا پاگل پن دیکھا جو الٹا سیدھا بول کر جہاں عذبہ کو خوفزدہ کر رہی تھی وہیں دارام کو خود سے متنفر بھی کر سکتی تھی۔
”ہانی چلو میرے ساتھ، آٸی تھنک اس کو ڈپریشن اٹیک ہو رہا ہے“ شاٸنہ بیگم نے اس کا بازو تھام کر روکتے ہوۓدوسرا جملہ دارام سے کہتے ہوۓصفاٸی دینا چاہی۔
”نہیں ماما چھوڑیں مجھے۔“ ہانی نے جھٹکے سے اپنا بازو چھڑوایا اور عذبہ کو دیکھا۔
”سفیر کی نیت خراب تھی عذبہ، وہ تمہیں حاصل کرنا چاہتا تھا اور میں یہ بات جانتی تھی، اس نے مجھ سے کہا ایک بار اسے تمہارا وجود سونپ دوں تو وہ ہمیشہ کے لیے میری طرف لوٹ آۓگا اور میں نے یہ سوکالڈ ریلیشن بچانے کے لیے مان بھی لیا تھا، اس دن میں نے سب کو سٹے کے لیے اسی لیے کہا تھا میں جانتی تھی وہ تمہارے پاس رات کو جاۓگا میں سب جانتی تھی تو بتاٶاچھی ہوں میں؟ اب بتاٶمیرے ساتھ برا ہوا؟“ وہ استہزاٸیہ ہنستی اپنے سب جرم مان رہی تھی دارام کی مٹھیاں بھنچ گٸیں اس نے بےیقینی سے ہانی کو دیکھا اور پھر شاکڈ کھڑی شاٸنہ بیگم کو، ہانی پھٹی پھٹی آنکھوں سے دیکھتی عذبہ کو جھنجھوڑ کر سوال کرنے لگی تھی عذبہ کا خوف و صدمے سے رنگ سفید پڑنے لگا تھا جب دارام نے ہانی کو اس سے دور کرتے ہوۓ بےساختہ اس پر ہاتھ اٹھایا تھا، چٹاخ کی آواز گونجی اور ہانی لڑکھڑا کر پیچھے ہوٸی آج شاٸنہ بیگم دارام کو روک بھی نہیں پاٸیں جو وہ سن چکا تھا اس کی بیوی کی عزت کی دھجیاں اڑانے کی تیاری کی گٸی شاید کوٸی اور ہوتا تو ایک تھپڑ پر بس بھی نا کرتا مگر دارام ایک بار ہاتھ اٹھا کر جبڑے بھنچے خود پر کنٹرول کرنے لگا، ہانی سر ڈالے کھڑی رہی۔
”یو ہرٹ می ہانیہ۔۔۔ کیا کمی محسوس کی تھی میری محبت میں؟ کیوں مجھے دھوکہ دیا؟ عذبہ میری امانت تھی میری عزت، میری محبت، کسی ایک بات کا ہی مان رکھ لیتیں۔۔
کیا واقعی تم لوگوں نے سمجھ لیا تھا میں نہیں لوٹونگا؟ تب بھی۔۔ میرے مرنے کا تو انتظار کر لیتیں۔“ وہ شدتِ ضبط سے بھاری ہوتی آواز سے بول رہا تھا اور شاید پہلی بار اتنے غصے سے اتنا زیادہ بولا تھا وہ۔
