” ت، تو تمہارے نکاح ک ، کس سے ہو رہا ہے؟…..” کومل کے سوال پر وہ مسکرایا۔
” ہائے میں کب سے چاہتا تھا تم مجھ سے یہ سوال پوچھو اور میں تمہیں بتاؤں کہ وہ خوش نصیب لڑکی کون ہے؟…..”
” باتیں نہ بناؤ تمیز سے بتاؤ…..” اب کہ وہ زچ ہوئی.
” کومل بیگ جو ہر وقت مجھ سے لڑتی رہتی ہے…..” یشب نے مسکراہٹ ضبط کی تھی۔
” م ، مجھ سے لیکن وہ تمہاری بچپن کی منگیتر؟…..” وہ بےیقین ہوئی.
” ہاں تم سے! کیونکہ تم ہی تو میری بچپن کی منگیتر ہو…..”
“میں!….” کومل کے لبوں پہ مدھم سے مسکراہٹ رقصاں ہوئی۔ لیکن اگلے ہی لمحے وہ غیر محسوس انداز میں اپنی مسکراہٹ چھپا گئی۔
“میں تم سے نکاح بالکل بھی نہیں کروں گی……” اور کومل کی بات سن یشب کہ ماتھے پہ بل پڑے.
” سوچ لو؟…..” یشب نے اسے گھورا تھا۔
” سوچ لیا!…….” کومل پرسکون لہجے میں بولی.
” ٹھیک ہے پھر تم دادا سے کہہ دینا کہ تم یہ نکاح نہیں کرنا چاہتی…….” اور اب کے یشب کی پر سکون لہجے پہ کومل نے چونک کر اسے دیکھا۔
“کیا؟…..”
” ہاں تم نے سوچ لیا ہے نا کہ تم مجھ سے نکاح………”
“میں نے سوچ لیا ہے کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہمارے نکاح کا جوڑا لینے جاؤں گی……” وہ یشب کی بات کاٹتی تیزی سے بولی۔
“ہمم!….” یشب مسکرایا۔
اور اس کی مسکراہٹ دیکھ جب کومل کو اپنے لفظوں کا احساس ہوا تو وہ زبان دانتوں تلے دباتی باہر کی طرف بھاگ گئی۔
