زوحان سعید: کہانی کا مرکزی کردار (اینٹی ہیرو)۔ فطرتاً بے حد چنچل، شرارتی اور لاپرواہ ہے، لیکن دل کا معصوم اور مخلص ہے۔ باپ کے سخت روئیے اور بعد میں کالج میں لگنے والے ایک جھوٹے داغ کی وجہ سے وہ اندھیروں کا مسافر بن کر درندہ بن جاتا ہے۔
روحان سعید: زوحان کا جڑواں بھائی۔ بے حد سنجیدہ، ذہین، پڑھاکو اور سکالر بننے کا شوقین۔ وہ زوحان کی جان ہے اور باپ کے غصے کے سامنے ہمیشہ زوحان کی ڈھال بنتا ہے، اور آخری وقت میں اسے ہدایت کا راستہ دکھاتا ہے۔
سعید صاحب: زوحان اور روحان کے والد۔ ایک انتہائی سخت گیر اور روایتی باپ جو دین و دنیا کے نام پر زوحان پر ظلم کرتے ہیں اور اسے ہمیشہ دھتکارتے ہیں۔

کاکے کوئی بات نہیں باس روز رات کو فون کرکے لوری سنا کے سلائے گا ، افنان کے ہونٹ پھیل گئے ، ایک مشرق تھا ایک مغرب دونوں ایک دوسرے پہ تاک تاک کے وار کرتے ، زوحان سو سو کرتا روتا رہا افنان کا شرٹ پکڑ کے ناک صاف کرتا رہا ،
مجھے کیا کہتے ہوں میں نے وہاں بھوکا ہی رہنا ہے ، میں دو سال میں ڈھانچہ بن کے اونگا ، روحی نے جبڑے اپس میں پیوست کر لئے ، کوئی بات نہیں باس روز دیگیں چڑھا کے تمہیں بھیجے گا ،
بس تم جاو ہم پہ رحم کرو، تم اسے کچھ کہتے کیوں نہیں ، زوحان نے توپوں کا رخ افنان کی طرف کردیا ، میں تمہارے باس سے نہیں ڈرتا ،
