یہ کہانی” بارلاس پاشا“ کی ہے۔یہ کہانی ایک قاتل کی ہے جو پتھر دل تھا ۔پر ٹھہرو……. یہ کہانی اس لمحہ کی بھی ہیں۔ جب ایک ہرن کی ۔آنکھوں نے اسے پتھر سے موم بنا دیا۔جب ایک ڈاکٹر نے قاتل کے زخموں پر مرہم لگایا۔ جب خون پر ” عشق غالب آگیا۔ اس ناول میں گولیاں بھی ہیں اور غزلیں بھی۔محبت بھی ہے اور نفرت بھی۔دھوکہ بھی ہے اور وفا بھی یہ خاموشی کے شور کا عشق ہے۔ یہاں ہر صحفہ پلٹنے پر دل دھڑکے گا۔”کبھی خوف سے تو کبھی عشق سے“

قبرستان والی حویلی رات کے تین بج رہے۔کالی رات ‘بجلی کڑک رہی۔اندھیرے میں صرف ایک لالٹین جل رہی تھی۔حویلی کے تہہ میں میرال بندھی ہوئی تھی۔ سامنے دیوار پر لکھا ہوا تھا”” یہاں صرف موت کا راج ہے““ دروازہ کھلا۔ سب سے پہلے: شایان پاشا جو سگریٹ کا دھواں چھوڑتا ہوا آیا جیسے لاش جلا رہا ہو۔آیان پاشا لیپ ٹاپ پر کچھ ٹائپ کررہا تھا۔”باس پولیس کا سگنل جیم کردیا ہے اب یہاں کوئی نہیں آسکے گا“
ارحم پاشا نظر جھکائے ہوئے اس حالات میں آیا جیسے وہ خود کو خود ہی دفن کرنا چاہیے۔ ان سب کو دیکھ کر میرال اور سلمہ اس قدر ڈر گئی کہ ان کو سانس لینا بھی بھول گیا۔ اور پھر وہ آیا جس کا ان تینوں کو انتظار تھا۔ سفید شلوار قمیض پر خون کا ایک چھینٹا۔ آنکھیں خون کی طرح سرخ ۔اس کے آنے سے سب کچھ ساکن ہوگیا ۔ کمرے میں موت جیسی خاموشی چھا گئی۔
تبھی کمرے کے کونے سے کانپتی ہوئی آواز آئی٠٠
(:ڈرو خدا سے٠٠٠ ڈرو خدا کی پکڑ سے٠٠٠ اے ظالمو ڈرو اس ذات سے) سب نے اس محصوم آواز والی لڑکی کی طرف دیکھا۔ آنے والی شخصیت ہلکی سی مسکرائی۔وہ آواز برف سے زیادہ ٹھنڈی تھی۔وہ اس سے مخاطب ہوا: اس ذات نے ہم پر رسی ڈھیلی چھوڑ دی ہے۔ جس دن خدا کو ہماری یاد آئے گی…. اس دن قیامت خود ہم سے پناہ مانگے گی۔ تب تک اس حویلی میں میرا حکم چلیں گا اور میرا ہی انصاف ” سامنے کھڑا شخص بارلاس پاشا نے ان دونوں کی طرف دیکھا
آج یہاں سے کسی کی جان جائے گی۔ میرال کی ہرن جیسی آنکھیں خوف سے پھٹ اٹھی۔ اس کی مسکراہٹ اب کچھ گہری ہوئی اور اپنی پسٹل کو ان دونوں کی جانب کیا۔
”خدا کےلئے معاف کردوں م…..می٠٠٠ میں ساری زندگی آپ کی غلام رہوں گی مجھے نہ مارے۔ سلمہ اپنی جان کی فکر کرتے ہوئے بولی جب کے میرال اپنی ہرن جیسی آنکھوں سے سلمہ کو دیکھ رہی اسے پہلے بھی اسی بات کی امید تھی۔ وہ خاموش بیھٹی سلمہ کی اس خودغرضی کو دیکھتے ۔اس کی پسٹل سے تین گولیاں نکلی۔اور سیدھے نشانیں پر جا لگی۔سلمہ بانو فرش پر گری۔سلمہ کے خون اور گولی کی آواز پر کمرے میں میرال کی چیخ نکلی اور وہ بے ہوش ہوکر زمین پر زور سے گری۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
