“ایمل کیا تم اس رشتے سے خوش ہو نا؟” وہ آگے چلتے ہوۓ بولا. ہوا تیز چل رہی تھی اور ایمل کے بال شانوں سے اُڑ رہے تھے جنہیں وہ بار بار پیچھے کرتی تھی. وہ دائم کے سوال کے جواب میں چپ رہی.
“دیکھو میں اپنی زندگی میں زبردستی کا قائل نہیں ہوں. جو بھی رشتہ ہو میں اس میں فیئر رہنا چاہتا ہوں.” وہ سنجیدگی سے بولا.
“مجھے ذیادہ ڈائیلاگز بھی پسند نہیں. میں پریکیٹیکل انسان ہوں. لیکن ایک بات یہ بھی ہے کہ جس سے پیار کروں اسکا خیال ہر وقت میرے لیۓ فرض ہو جاتا ہے. اور تم میرے لیۓ بہت خاص ہو.” وہ رُخ موڑ کر اُسے دیکھتے ہوۓ بولا. وہ اب بھی چپ ہی رہی.
“تم کچھ نہیں بولو گی.”
“نہیں آپ کو سننا اچھا لگ رہا ہے” وہ بے ساختہ بول اُٹھی. دائم مسکرا دیا اور اب وہ تھوڑی شرمندہ نظر آ رہی تھی.
“اچھا مجھے نہیں معلوم تھا کہ میں تمہیں اچھا لگتا ہوں.” وہ شرارت سے بولا.
آجکل ایمل خوش رہنے لگی تھی. اس کا دل دائم کی جانب سے صاف ہو گیا تھا. کبھی کبھی خیال آتا کے وہ دائم سے شہری کے بارے میں پوچھ لے پھر خود ہی اپنا خیال جھٹک دیتی.
رات کو جب وہ اپنے کمرے میں آئی تو اس کے بیڈ پر سفید گلابوں کا گلدستہ پڑا تھا. وہ حیران ہوئی بیڈ تک آئی اور گلدستہ اُٹھا کر دیکھا پھول تازہ تھے اور ان کی بہت اچھی مہک تھی. یہ پھول بلکل ویسے ہی تھے جو کل دائم نے اسے پارک میں دیا تھا.
اس نے گلدستہ اُلٹ کر دیکھا بیچ میں سے ایک کارڈ گرا. اس نے اُٹھا کر دیکھا.
اس پر کچھ لکھا تھا.
