تم ہر چیز میں گھسنا اپنا فرض سمجھتی ہو، وجدان کو برا لگا ہے
لگا ہے تو لگتا رہے، مجھے بھی لگا ہے حبا کے لیے
اہم می می یار کیا ضرورت تھی تماشا بنانے کی،
ہاں تم تو چپ ہی رہو، اگر خود کے لیے بول لو تو کسی کو بولنے کی ضرورت نہ پڑے
اچھا مریم میری ایک بات کان کھول کے سن لو، اب ایسی ویسی کوئی حرکت نہیں کرنا، چپ چاپ بیٹھی رہو
میں ساتھ دماغ بھی کھول کے سن لیتی ہوں، پر میں تھک گئی ہوں امی، یار کل بھی اتنی دیر بیٹھی تھی اور آج پھر، کتنا ٹائم لگے گا
خاموشی سے بیٹھی رہو، ورنہ تم سے ناراض ہو جاؤں گی اور آج ہی واپس چلی جاؤں گی

اسے کمرے میں لا کر بٹھایا گیا تو وہ بیڈ کی پشت سے ٹیک لگائے خود کو پرسکون کرنے لگی، بیس منٹ بعد وہ چلتی ڈریسنگ تک آئی
اس نے سب سے پہلے ڈوپٹہ سے خود کو آزاد کیا، ایک نظر خود کو آئینے میں دیکھا پھر کان سے جھمکے اتارے، ماتھے پر پہنا ٹیکا ہٹایا، گلے سے مالا اتاری اور اس سے پہلے کہ اپنا جوڑا بھی کھولتی جب اس کی نظر اپنے پیچھے آ کر کھڑے ہوئے وجدان پر پڑی،
وہ ڈر گئی تھی، مگر اسے محسوس نہ ہو اس لیے غصہ سے کور کرتی کبرڈ کی طرف بڑھی، اس جانب اٹھتے ہوئے قدم ساکت ہوئے، اس کی نظر اپنی کلائی پر پڑی جو اس کی گرفت میں تھی
اس نے الجھی نظروں سے اسے دیکھا، جس پر وجدان نے اسے اپنی جانب کھینچا اور وہ خود کو بچاتی اس کے سینے پر ہاتھ رکھ گئی
“ہوش میں تو ہو ٹکرباز “
خود کی منتشر ہوتی دھڑکنوں کو قابو کرتی وہ اس سے بولی
جس پر اس نے ایک تفصیلی نظر اس کے وجود پر ڈالی،
اسے غصہ تھا مگر اسے دیکھ کر سارا غصہ دب سا گیا تھا
